The reliability supported technologies of wireless sensor networks in long-narrow region, which are proposed in this dissertation, aim to the problems of lack of reliability supported in some wireless sensor networks application, Some Strategies and schemes for supporting quality of service are studied in this dissertation, including:1) Establishing the theory models of wireless sensor networks in long-narrow region. The peculiar sensing and coverage of sensor nodes in long-narrow region are researched by the combination of geographical conditions of long-narrow region; Communication BER and energy consumption characteristics of sensor nodes are established; Several reasonable assumptions are described.2) Researching the 3D linear fault-tolerant topology control technology in long-narrow region. A 3D linear node deployment strategy adapting to fault coverage is designed; network zone strategy with energy efficiency is designed. Performances analysis results show that, the capability of fault-tolerant coverage is inversely proportional to communication capability in three-dimensional linear wireless sensor network in long-narrow region.3) Researching the decision fusion technology based on multi-bit local quantification. Three rules of local multi-bit quantification and a rule of sub-optimal decision fusion corresponding to fusion center are proposed. Performances analysis results show that, the system performance can be improved by both rules based on statistics and redundancy under conditions with low SNR and small number of sensors.4) Researching the assurance for QoS of chain-type reliable data transmission. The ideas providing support of reliability and real-time based on priority distinction are proposed; The redundant forwarding scheme of single-path packet is investigated, and the optimal data packet assign strategy is analyzed; The congestion scenes prone to wireless sensor networks in long-narrow region is analyzed, and the relevant congestion avoidance, detection and mitigation strategies are put forward.5) Constructing the simulation platform of wireless sensor networks in long-narrow region. The performances of wireless sensor networks in long-narrow region is simulated using OPNET Modeler, and simulation model of nodes of wireless sensor networks in long-narrow region is established; The scene of wireless sensor networks in long-narrow region is constructed; and the effects on the performances of wireless sensor networks caused by reliability strategy and scheme are studied.6) Constructing the proto-type of wireless sensor networks in long-narrow region. Prototype system of wireless sensor networks constituted by 25 Crossbow MicaZ nodes in long-narrow region is built.
