Wireless sensor networks environment with variability and complexity,so thereliability of data transmission become an important issue in the field of WSNs. Thispaper studies of wireless sensor network reliability,at the same time, considering thebattery-limit of sensor nodes,we make energy-efficiency as one of the key research.Flooding routing is a traditional wireless broadcast routing protocols, in wirelesssensor networks using flooding routing not only energy serious damaged, but alsodifficult to guarantee data reliability. This paper proposes a reliability strategy to solvethe problems of energy greatly damaged and low data reliability while using traditionalflooding routing in wireless sensor networks. The strategy combines directionalflooding data transmission and network coding. By limiting transmission direction andselecting part of nodes in the directional transmission range for encoding, the strategycan improve data reliability and reduces energy consumption. Theoretical analysis andsimulation results show the proposed strategy is effective.Network coding can guarantee the reliable transmission in wireless sensornetwork, but the opportunity of network coding is limited by the forwarding pathselection. Opportunistic routing compete through multiple potential relaynodes, independent intelligent choice next hop. This paper considers the combination ofnetwork coding and opportunistic routing, not only ensure the network codingefficiency, and minimize energy consumption by all nodes. the simulation shows that ourstrategy is effective.
