With a growing development of information technology, modern war has shifted towards information war whose main means are based on information technologies and information equipments from mechanized war. The main characters of mechanized war are to acquire local or entire predominance by troops maneuvering and fire injure. To the contrary, the main characters of information war are to assure local or entire predominance in material space by obtaining superiority of information.Today, it is necessary that evaluating advancements of such weapon equipment as battle plane, tank, artillery, missile, warships etc, not only with the traditional standard which is including firing rate, precision, range, power, mobility and defense is used; but also considering if discovering, recognising tracking the target as soon as possible, in order to hit target exactly in time, considering if eluding reconnaissance and surveillance from enemy, in order to avoid strike.The AEOCSP(Airborne Electro-Optical Countermeasure Stable Platform) performs such versatile functions as capturing, tracking and jamming for target in motion, which satisfies the demands to weapon equipment in information war. In addition, this equipment, integrated with technologies of optics, laser, fine mechanics, electronics, electronics, optic-electronic sensor, automatics and computer, embody the requirement of weapon equipment in new military revolution. It is towards combination, integration, real time.The paper present general design plan for the AEOCSP, whose overall composition includes airborne tracking frame, TV camera system, TV tracking system, mid-infrared laser jamming system and servocontrol system, whose technology concerns with zoom CCD camera, TV tracking, mid-infrared laser jamming, image processing, servocontrol, inertia gyro, anti-noise interference, etc. Among all of them, the technology of zoom lens CCD camera, TV tracking, mid-infrared laser jamming are profoundly investigated.Firstly, in the zoom lens CCD camera technology, the paper emphasizes designing theory of zoom lens, and designs zoom lens CCD camera system which is suitable for AEOCSP. The focal range of zoom system is 100mm~500mm, that can capture and track the motorial target. Analyzing the fundamental principle and parameter, the ICX039DLA-CCD is selected, which can convert the optical signal into electronic signal and lay a foundation for the following image processing. Secondly, in the TV tracking technology, the paper stduies calculation method for miss distance of target, and shows the functional module composition, general frame, operation procedure, and hardware design for the image processing. After indagating gate tracking and correlative tracking often used in TV tracking, the thesis comes to a conclusion that: the character of gate tracking is rapidly calculated yet low tracking-precision, to the contrary, correlative tracking is complicatedly calculation while high precision. Thus, the paper presents the combination gate tracking and correlative tracking(Sequential Similarity Detection Algorithms). The method can fullly use merit of different algorithms, so that rapid matching and tracking of target is achieved.Thirdly, in the mid-infrared laser jamming technology, the paper analyzes and compares several approaches of laser beam expanding, including transmitting laser beam expanding system, coaxial double-reflect-mirror laser beam expanding system, off-axis double-reflect-mirror laser beam expanding system. Then, the off-axis cassegrain beam expanding system is used and designed. It can expand the mid-infrared laser beam from DF laser. Comparing to other plans, the system reduces the power lose in the process of propagation and shuns the harm to the optical components produced by the mid-infrared laser of largely condensed power.Finally, the paper analyses the factors influenced the output precision for miss distance of target and stable-axis precision in AEOCSP, put forwards the results of experiment. The result prove sthat the desigh of instrument is successful and can accord to the requirements.
