Wireless sensor networks (WSN) are one of the most interesting areas with aprofound effect on technological developments include wireless communication, network technology, embedded system and micro-electromechanical systems. Therapid deployment, self-organization, and fault tolerance characteristics of sensornetworks make them a very promising sensing technique for home automation, environmental monitoring and collection information of battlefield. The researchersfocus all their attention on algorithm and protocol, but the WSN is discipline whichhas wide range of applications. Based on specific application, a type of coordinatordatabase known network has been brought forward, and the node and localizationalgorithm were well researched in this thesis. The integrated THP (Temperature, Humidity and Pressure) based on MEMS hasbeen designed and fabricated. The principle and structure of the integrated THPsensor were analyzed in detail, and it also provides the measuring methods andcircuits that adapt to WSN for its ultra low power consumption. A function that=Vh2-KV12 was introduced to eliminate the effect of ambient temperature duringhumidity measurement.WSN node with Layer Division Multiplexing has been designed, which hasrobustness and enlargement properties. The node is divided into four layers whichinclude power management module, sensor module, wireless communication moduleand processor module. Every module possesses a common bus.The theory and experiment of distance measurement based on RSSI has beenanalyzed, and then empirical formula of the relation of distance and RSSI wassummarized. The parameters of empirical formula were determined by the experimentresults. It can be concluded that mean measurement error is less than 3 meters in...
