Video Conference System And A Research On MPEG-4

The multi-points video conference system__CyberView developed by our groupis described in the first part. The purpose of researching on video conference is exploring more efficient transmission for high quality video data over PSTN, LAN/WAN or Internet/Intranet and wireless networks. This system based on H.263 can provide real-time and full- duplex audio, video and data communication, and can be used for multi-points video conference and transmission and store of other multimedia applications, such as video phone, security monitor, remote sensing, remote diagnosis and multimedia database, etc.The second part discuss the main contents and the progress of MPEG-4 from three aspects, describe the details of segmentation of image and video, generation of full image, detection and trace of human face, set up and trace of 2D mesh model, analysis and synthesis of 3D human face, etc.
