Mobile IP is a key technology for mobile compute. Mobility management is a key component in the research of mobile IP, and the integration of mobile IP and mobile communication networks is a focus in the area. In the dissertation, new investigation are carried out based on the previous work. The main achievements are listed as follows:1. When the mobile host is accessed to IP network by wireless network, and its access point is far from the local network, the frequent mobility will strongly increase the binding update cost. In order to solve this problem, this paper provides a new management strategy based on mobile IPv6 technology. Using existing network structure, under condition of no large changing for this network structure, by decreasing sending binding update message to home agent and corresponding communication nodes, reducing network binding cost therefore further reduce total binding and delivery cost, the system performance will be improved. Results of theory analysis and simulation experiment indicate that new scheme is better than standard scheme.2. At the same time this paper notes that in order to solve "triangle route" problem of mobile IP, people provide many solutions. The problem of when and under what condition to optimize route is focus point to be studied for this paper. In order to solve the problem of when and under what condition to execute route optimization, we will analyze and discuss following three strategies of optimization route: first is optimizing route strategy based on exponent distributing timer, Second is optimizing route strategy based on period timer and finally is optimizing route strategy based on Bernoulli. Under the strategy based on exponent distributing timer, we suppose the time interval between two operations is following an exponent distributing random variable. Under the strategy based on period timer optimizing route is done according to a certain time period.
