Gyrotron device is a new type of important millimeter wave device with the characteristics of high average and pulseoutput power. This device has vast application vistas in many fields such as millimeter radar, communication, electroniccountermeasure, and so forth. Electronic gun is an important part of Gyrotron. The quality of its electronic beams willproduce a great influence on the parameters of Gyrotron. It receives widespread attention and an intensive study in the world. Now, there are few chinese researchers who areengaged in this field. Under this background, supported by the ?5 Plan?pre-study item of Electronic Science Academy and ?63 Plan?, the Electron-optics system, and design of theelectronic guns are studied throughly, and set of large program for CAD of electronic guns are developed in this dissertation.The main works of this dissertation are listed as follows:1 ~. The physic models and physic equations of the static electronic field and static magnetic field in the axial symmetrical system, the electron motion law~ the electron motion equations and the electron trajectory equations in the electronic magnetic field are researched and built up, in which the space charge effect and the relativistic effect are taken into account.2... The solving mathematic models and methods of the static electronic field... the magnetic fields the Laplace equations... the Poisson equations the electron motion equations and the electron trajectories equations are researched. The solvingmethods of the space charge effects are discussed. The mathematic models and the numerucal simulation methods have been proved out directly or indirect.3~, For the first time in our country, diode MIG of Gyrotron has been designed and studied. The large simulation and designing program of the diode MIG of Gyrotron are developed. The new studying and calculating methods on the surface of the cathode were suggested. In the design the MIG of Gyrotron there are many new ideal such as calculation boundaries . space charge ... electron trajectories .~ dynamic simulation and so on. Many problems about influence on the quality of its electronic beams are calculated, analyzed and discussed. The diode MIG of Gyrotron was designed for 8mm Gyrotron with the permanent magnet system. This MIG has many characteristics such small velocity spreads good laminar flow~. lamella抯 electron beam and so on. It has been applied in our experiment.4.~ The triode MIG of Gyrotron has designed and studied. The large simulation and designing program of the triode MIG of Gyrotron are developed. In the design the triode MIG of Gyrotron and the large simulation program exists many news. This triode MIG of Gyrotron has many characteristics such as small velocity spread~ good laminar flow-. lamella抯 electron beam and so on. It has been applied in our experiment.5 The electronic gun with the large turnabout radius of Gyrotron was designed-. studied -~ calculated-. analyzed and discussed. The large simulation and designing program of theelectronic gun with the large turnabout radius of Gyrotron was developed. The new calculating methods about magnet was built. In the design the electronic gun with the large turnabout radius of Gyrotron exists many news, such calculating methods on the surface of the cathode~, calculation boundaries~ space charge~ electric trajectories~ dynamic simulation and so on. The designing results are discussed and checked up.
