Research On The Knowledge Transfer Between Individuals Based On Academic Blogs

Abstract:In the times of knowledge economy, knowledge has become one of the determining factors in competition. The acquisition, transfer and creation of knowledge are the essential parts of knowledge management process. Knowledge transfer is the prerequisite to the realization of knowledge creation. As a social activity, it occurs in the integrating system of the whole society. Large quantities of empirical researches prove that the effects of knowledge transfer in China are not satisfactory enough. It remains a problem how to acquire and share knowledge efficiently, as well as how to realize knowledge transfer successfully.As an important academic resource on Internet, academic blog is significant to the improvement of academic exchange, knowledge sharing and knowledge transfer, which in turn attracts information workers and academy researchers. In the communication of academic blogs, knowledge transfer is the most visualized effect. Therefore, from the angle of communication, the research on the knowledge transfer among individuals is emergent and essential in present knowledge management.The basic idea of this text is the combination of theoretical investigation and application research. Under the direction of the theory of informatics, knowledge management, knowledge engineering, information construction, communication and psychology, the author combine academic blogs and the relative theory of knowledge transfer. By analyzing the present model of knowledge transfer, the author also probe into knowledge transfer from the angle of communication and come up with the model of knowledge transfer among individual academic blogs. The research purpose is to improve the effects of academic knowledge transfer among individuals and realize the effective knowledge sharing.This text is divided into eight parts, and the contents are as the following:Part 1 IntroductionOn the basis of the presentation of the significance of the selected subject, the author does research on the current situation of knowledge transfer home and abroad as well as that with academic blog as a background. And then the research subject of this is raised, which in turn leads to the research purposes and methods. In addition, the research crucial and difficult points are also introduced.Part 2 ReviewTo begin with, the documents on the relative theory of knowledge transfer are reviewed and different understandings from scholars home and abroad on knowledge transfer. I also present my own idea and approach the connotation, general process and influencing factors of knowledge transfer. Next, the connotation of academic blogs is approached. Academic blogs are regarded as an open new-style network academic information source, which is important to the construction of the network academic information source. The influences of the appearance of academic blogs on knowledge diffusion and academic exchange is also emphasized. At last, the characteristics of academic blogs are analyzed in detail. The knowledge management of blogs results in the revitalization of experts'recessive academic knowledge. The openness and exchange of blogs is convenient for others to obtain and share.Part 3 AnalysisThe present model of knowledge transfer is analyzed. To begin with, I summarize the three models of knowledge transfer that are based on process. These are Gilbert and Cordey-Hayes' five-step knowledge transfer model, Szulanski's internal organizations'best practice transfer model and Dixon's knowledge transfer model. Next, I use communication as a breakthrough point to probe into the knowledge transfer model that is based on interpersonal communication and that of knowledge base. Then I compare the two models to show the advantages of the former. At last,I analyze the present problems of knowledge transfer, which shows the necessity of knowledge transfer of academic blogs among individuals.Part 4 Model constructionTo begin with, I analyze the process of knowledge transfer based on blog communication, explore the appearance of the knowledge exchange and transfer in academic blogs and summarize the advantages of knowledge transfer based on blog communication among individuals. Then according to Szulanski's knowledge transfer procedural model and Alice Lam's knowledge transfer situational model as well as the effects of knowledge service social network, I construct the knowledge transfer procedural model based on academic blog community. At the same time, I compare the knowledge transfer model based on academic blog among individuals and the general knowledge transfer model, which indicates the former's advantages.At last, I do research on the realization of the knowledge transfer model based on academic blog among individuals from three aspects.Users' cognitive mental mechanism is the internal motivation. The means of knowledge transfer is the desirability. The knowledge service organization is the restriction and insurance.Part 5 Factor and StrategyThe relevant factors of the knowledge transfer model based on academic blog among individuals are discussed in this part. Four aspects are mentioned, which include knowledge itself, knowledge sender, blogs as a medium and knowledge receiver. On the basis of the incisive analysis of the factors, I come up with some relevant optimizing strategies. To be specific, the strategies include the strengthening of the standard of the academic blog contents, the communication between the knowledge sender and receiver, the blog users'ability to express, the indexing quality of academic blogs and the protection of the copyright of academic blogs.Part 6 EvaluationTo begin with, I introduce the principles that should be followed when the evaluation of the effects on the knowledge transfer in academic blogs is selected, which includes principle of whole, principle of science, principle of purpose and principle of effectiveness. Then I construct ten specific aims, which in turn leads to a target system that can be used to evaluate the effects of the knowledge transfer media in individual knowledge transfer. Next, according to the characteristics of the research objects, I evaluate the effects of the knowledge transfer media in individual knowledge transfer by using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. At last, I evaluate the effects of the knowledge transfer media in individual knowledge transfer with the assistance of the target system used to evaluate the effects of the knowledge transfer media in individual knowledge transfer and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.Part 7 ConclusionThe significance, creation and difficulty are summarized and the research direction is also put forward.
