Constructivism concept is a prism with many facets. While every facets reflect the splendid and profound light and form one part of a whole, three facets in the prism are conspicuous, including philosophy, psychology and sociology. Seeing the curriculum field from the three facets mentioned above through constructivism, we will find there are a great many of unique and amusing stuffs. The curriculum field are full of complicated dialogues and multiple elements, if we compare curriculum theory as an edifice, the underprop of the edifice are philosophy, psychology and sociology.What the constructivism curriculum study needs to do is surveying curriculum field in constructivist standpoint, constructivism in Philosophy unscramble the fundamental of curriculum, constructivism in psychology take the operation technique to curriculum practice, what the constructivism in sociology concerns is the relationship between the curriculum and politics or culture. Therefore, the constructivist curriculum study indicates that constructing curriculum theory and forming constructivist curriculum in basic standpoint of constructivism.Three facets in constructivism corresponding to three basic latitudes in curriculum field, the study will probe three components in curriculum from three routes of constructivism, including constructivist philosophy, psychology and sociology, and then form fundamental principal,practical operation and social politics of constructivism curriculum.Undoubtfully, when surveying curriculum field in constructivist standpoint, what we need to do first is to clarify its basic idea, Constructivism that are based on philosophy is a revolution in epistemology, it takes the change in conception of knowledge,conception of value and methodology; Constructivism that are based on psychology raise the revolution of study and promote the development of teaching theory, purport,comprehending and context turns into the key words in psychology constructivism; The basic viewpoints of constructivism that are based on sociology reflect in these new theories, including the social constructivism and the episteme sociology, it also weakens the authority of knowledge and probe how the curriculum knowledge is chosen and controlled by society. After the interpretation from three different facets, The author conclude the basic proposition of constructivism, and it composes the first part of the study.The core of the study is to construct the theory system of curriculum on the basis of the basic theory of constructivism. What we want to expatiate from part two to part four is the curriculum system of constructivism.The second part expatiates the substantial aspect of the constructivism curriculum, including the basic elements inside the constructivism curriculum and the relationship among the different factors. and the essence,objective and content of constructivism curriculum, this part resolve the principal issue of curriculum in constructivism conception of knowledge and methodology from constructivism philosophy epistemology and then form the basic theory of constructivism curriculum. Curriculum used to be a field with strong practice, the constructivism curriculum also has the same character. What the third part needs to resolve is the technical operation issue of curriculum. This part will explore the practical operation of curriculum including curriculum design, curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation according to the conception of students,learning theory and teaching theory.Both constructivism curriculum theory and operation technique belong to surface structure of curriculum. The profound structure of curriculum hides in the inner part of the curriculum. The forth part probes the relationship between constructivism curriculum and social politics or culture, and analyzes the constructivist process of curriculum knowledge, and then expatiates the elicitation that the constructivism to the curriculum innovation and the concrete effect that the constructivism curriculum to the curriculum reform in compulsory education. Of course, the three routes and three facets of constructivism are not corresponding to the three latitudes of curriculum theory, the real relationship between them is intersectant and syncretic. Constructivism include not only the three facets mentioned above but also other facets, while theoretical framework of the curriculum are not just the three latitudes that are mentioned above, including theory,operation and social politics, we will have more discovery if we survey the curriculum field from the constructivist point of view.
