| This paper integrate the theoretical research, status research development research into one research ideas, the main contents of this paper as the following four aspects:First, the vacation sports theoretical research. Mainly research the background, the theoretical basis and systems, the characteristics, the concepts and content, the relevant concept, value and function of vacation sports, thus building a foundation theoretical framework.of vacation sports.Second, the vacation sports status research. Gain a clear idea of type and regional distribution of vacation sports, and to conduct social surveys and interviews to vacation sports participants and operators to understand the status of development and problems of China's vacation sports.Third, mainly expounded the concept of effectiveness, and key factors (KFS) of foreign vacation sports development mode, as well as enlightenment of foreign vacation sports development mode to our country.Fourth, Chinese vacation sports development mode research. Divide the development process of vacation sports of our country into four life cycle stages as import, growth, maturity and decline/adjustment. Vacation sports development mode selection and construction must be based on the role of various factors of vacation sports drive mechanism in different life cycle stages by seeking practical development model.Through research, this paper draw some conclusions as following:First, Vacation Sports means that the people in order to obtain physical and mental relaxation to active choice and participate of various sports during the vacation. The social background of appearance of vacation Sports as following:vacation sports reflecting social change and economic trend in China; vacation sports is the way after the inflection point of China's tourism development; vacation sports meet the needs of fitness level jump; the enactment of paid leave system give vacation sports development space; vacation sports meet people's travel motivations leap; after the Olympic Games give vacation sports development opportunities of the times. The elements of vacation sports are composed of vacation sports resources element system, vacation sports services element system, vacation sports subject element system, vacation sports behavior element system, vacation sports benefits element system, and consists of a interaction system. The vacation sports have the following characteristics: vacation sports are sports activities that high-level, reflecting the active leisure; people participate in vacation sports mainly seeking relaxation; vacation sports is a positive patterns to leisure; vacation sports participant behavior is characterized by stay in one place; vacation sports have different supply methods; vacation sports have phenomenon of class consumption; vacation sports repeated consumption; vacation sports mixed multi-property. Socio-economic value of vacation sports including: increased foreign exchange earnings, balance of international payments; help to adjust the consumption structure, promote economic development; to promote western region economic development; promote human capital appreciation. Social and cultural value of vacation sports including:the promotion of community health concepts; to promote the harmonious development of man; conducive to building a harmonious society; conducive to cultural communication and protection.Second, the vacation sports resource is defined as any natural or human society object that can appeal to vacationers and vacation sports activities and can be carried out for the vacation sports industry to use and can generate economic, social and ecological benefits. Vacation sports resource can divided into two main class as physical resources and cultural resources. Chinese vacation have some characteristics as following:resource endowment advantages; the formation of source market-based development mode; wide vacation sports resource investment channels; high-end vacation sports have trend of export-oriented development; vacation sports resource development combined with tourism and so on. There are also have issues of short development time; resource development is not balanced; vacation sports resource development trigger controversial.Third, China's current vacation sports participants are mainly the mid-level income levels corporate employees, government organizations and institutions as well as business personnel at the age of 18-45 years and the cultural quality are above the college. The main mode of obtain information sources of vacation sports participants are to the media, networks, and interpersonal communication-based relatives and friends. Vacation sports participants are mainly short-range self-driving self-tour, remote vacation sports participants are mainly self-help travel by public transport. Vacation sports participants are mainly involved in the family way. Vacation sports participants spending power are mid-range. Vacation sports major expenditure items are accommodation and transportation, while the short-range vacation sports major expenditure items of equipment and hire-purchase tickets. Presents three kinds of business trends:Industry cluster development trend, chain trend, cross-industry business trend.Fifth, enlightenment of foreign vacation sports development mode are that the government should resort to play a leading role in vacation sports development, must consider national conditions to choose the mode of vacation sports development, the development of vacation sports should be based on resource-sharing concept to implement competition and cooperation, vacation sports management activities should follow the laws of the market, the development of vacation sports need to pay attention to prevent risks.Sixth, Vacation sports have four stages as import, growth, maturity and adjustment. The driving mechanism of vacation sports is the process of the composition of the various drivers and the process of coordination and interaction of vacation sports development.
