Since the late period of the 20th century, the academic reflections of the Chinese intelligentsia were carried out from two perspectives: Firstly, as thought criticism, the reflections directly entered the social and cultural contexts, and explored more suitable academic thought in frequent contentions. Secondly, the reflections returned to the academic recourses when the existing thought met the setbacks of realist representations, and clarified the continuous phenomenal predicaments and theoretical gap. Because of the import of modernity, post-modernity, new historicism and cultural studies, the contentions become very fierce. Among them, the reflection of the modernity narrative, the deduction of the existing thought history, the deconstruction of dominant paradigm, and the construction of the new narrative mode are an attractive new research mode. Thus, the dissertation takes this perspective to reflect the Late Ming research under the influence of modernity.Since the Late Qing Dynasty, the studies of Ming and Qing Learning have always been a prominent field. The academia reconsider the key problems in the transition of the ancient and the modern by clarifying the Ming and Qing thoughts, and understand the resources and characteristics of modern Chinese thought by exploring and illuminating the historical resources.
