Sui Jing Zhu is provided with plenty literature value and document value. But because it contains abundant physical geography and political geography content, Scholar go on and study to their from geography direction more, the study on its literature quality lacks the degree of depth probed. Articles with regard to Sui Jing Zhu's literature value are very few for recent twenty years, say nothing of monographs. What is more, study on the document is superficialness for Sui Jing Zhu which cite a lot of document. This is a pity for the study on Sui Jing Zhu. So this dissertation studies specifically Sui Jing Zhu on its literature value and document value, also discuss origin of landscape literature of China.This dissertation consist of five chapters altogether.Chapter one, do complementary researches on Li Dao Yuan's extraction , existence, ideology and his governmental activites which is in Bei Wei dynasty in the foundations of Chen QiaoYi's " Li Dao Yuan critical biography ". First, it does some researches on Li Dao Yuan's extraction and existence according as Sui Jing Zhu itself and historical materials, makes a list for Li Dao Yuan's story, and discusses when Li Dao Yuan compose Sui Jing Zhu. Then it analyse Li Dao Yuan belongs to which part in the political struggle of Bei Wei court. Lastly it discusses Li Dao Yuan's legitimacy intention and his culture thought which he regard Confucianism as dominant thought.Chapter two do some textual researches for the document which Sui Jing Zhu cite. This is one of the most important content in this dissertation. Sui Jing Zhu cite a lot of document, which take a proportion of more than half of Sui Jing Zhu entire word count. The document, especially geographical documents, take on strong literature trait. Sui Jing Zhu have many writing which write according to geographical document not marking its derivation, besides the part of document which marks. The dissertation is taken an exam of and examined partly at this point at first. Then do textual researches on ten kind of geography documents and twenty kind of histories biography documents. These document lose for a long time, and documents deposit most author lives yet nobody test the document's time all today. Some documents have not collected one or collect one and omit lost words a lot yet. This text collect relevant documents all-sidedly, criticize of a text author life story, works record situation and the dynasties which the document lose, Collect document material, such as reference book, historical notation , topography.etc. extensively , mend and collect lost words , Expect some contribution to the research of Sui Jing Zhu and arrangement of ancient Chinese prose.Chapter three .Analyse the description in geography documents which Sui Jing Zhu cite and their contribution to landscape prose of China. It choose by representative four geography documents such as San Qin Ji which Xin Shi wrote in the end of Dong Han Dynasty , Xiang Zhong Ji which Luo Han wrote in the beginning of Dong Jin Dynasty ,Yi Du Ji which Yuan ShanSong wrote in the end of Dong Jin Dynasty, and Jing Zhou Ji which Sheng HongZhi wrote in Liu Song Dynasty. The text makes analyse and probe into the forming and developments of landscape prose of China in the ancient geography documents.Chapter four .Analyse characteristic and achievement of the landscape description in Sui Jing Zhu.
