Chinese qin music has a very long history. Is is a universally acknowledged treasure of Chinese ancient music culture, and also the symbol of Chinese traditional music culture, especially of literati music. In the course of the development, along with the appearance of qin schools, the playing and composition of qin entered mature period. As the outcome of the development of qin, qin school is always characteristics by region style, origin of master and score system. And as the symbol of traditional culture, its rising and formation could not depart from the soil where it exists. In later South Song, in the richly endowed south of the ChangjiangRiver, the first qin school was rising . Being influenced with by it, during hundreds years after that, the qin tradition of south of the Changjiang River developed without ceased, multiplying new schools, which occupied an important place in qin music history of china. So putting in order of the clean line of qin schools in south Changjiang River is very important to know the developing regular of qin.The article is divided into three parts: In Part One, starting with inquiring into the historical cause why qin schools rose in south song, the writer explored the characteristics of literati culture of ancient qin music. Then trace to the source of Zhe school and Jiang school the earliest two qin schools in Part Two, the writer inquires into the two qin schools influenced by Zhe school. In Part Three, the writer inquires into the last qin school Guangling school rising in south Changjiang River. Although inquiring into each qin school in the same frame, the writer always along with the line of tracing, thereby put the schools from deferent period and region together, hi concluding remarks the writer looks back the three said parts, from the original relation of in schools, the contributions of in schools to in field, and to attribute the rising and falling of in schools to the ones of literati. |
