Since the beginning of the Han dynasty, Zhou Yi was the first book of Confucian, and has been concerned by many scholars, thinkers and philosophers as a specific study called "Yi Xue". Most of the ancient "Yi Xue" books had the annotation forms with the impact of "Shu Er Bu Zuo" concept. Wang Bi's Zhou Yi Zhu in Wei dynasty and Zhu Xi's Zhou Yi Ben Yi in Song dynasty are the highest peaks in the history of "Yi Xue". Through the study of the annotation in Zhou Yi Zhu and Zhou Yi Ben Yi, we can explore the general law to guide the annotation practice of Zhou Yi and refine the general theory of annotation in classics; by the way of combing the annotation contents, inducing both comments characteristics, searching the reason of the difference.Annotation is a complex communicative activities, which is a bridge linking the author, original works and readers. In this paper, we select a new research perspective in the object of Zhou Yi Zhu and Zhou Yi Ben Yi, through the comparison of these two kinds of annotation. The full text is divided into six parts. The first part, the introduction. In this part, the paper describes the meaning of topic selection, and clarifies the research purport. After the western hermeneutics introduced to China, which is a focus widely used, the traditional classical annotation is warmly discussed, and the research of "Yi Xue" has been paid a lot attention to. Analysing Wang Bi's and Zhu Xi's annotation content, summarizing the characteristics and their thoughts, is an effectively way to provide the facts support and enrich its connotation in Chinese classical annotation practice. The second part, the linguistic annotation of Zhou Yi in Wang Bi's and Zhu Xi's text. Classical annotation activity itself is using the today's language to explain yesterday's language, the interpretation of words and sentence is the foundation to explain the deep meaning of the text. Zhou Yi Zhu and Zhou Yi Ben Yi show different tendencies and difference in the aspects such as phonetic notation, explaining words, collating words, sentence analysis, and eliminating the language barrier of information, which is a result of language development change, the lost meaning and wrong meaning in the texts spreading, different annotator ideological and different interpretations of allusions in different time. The third part, annotation examples in Wang Bi's and Zhu Xi's texts. Jing includes Gua Hua, Gua Ci and Yao Ci, which make the relationship between Yan, Xiang, Yi an eternal topic, which also make it full of great tension and interpretation space between Xiang Shu and Yi Li as the form and content. The relationship which the system of "Yi Xue" is based on is the indispensable content in the annotation of Zhou Yi. Although from large areas we can divide the annotation of Zhou Yi into two parts called Qu Yi and Qu Xiang, but refined to specific methods, the difference between the different comment texts is rather large. The fourth part, Wang Bi's and Zhu Xi's annotation features on Zhou Yi. Through the analysis and comparison between the two annotation texts content, we summarize their respective characteristics, reveal the annotated text feature. Wang Bi's annotation explains Jing by Zhuan, carrying out the hermeneutic thought of "De Yi Wang Yan" Wang Bi's annotation pays attention to Yao Wei and Gua Shi and tries to use Taoist thought and Confucianism thought to explain Yi. Zhou Yi Ben Yi considers that the annotation about Yi form Fu Xi to Confucius comes down in one continuous line, but also has many differences. Zhu Xi distinguishes Jing Wen to Zhuan Wen, insists Yi is a book of divination, claims using Xiang shu to explain Yi Li, applies9pictures to make the meaning in Yi clear. The fifth part, the causes of differences in Wang Bi's and Zhu Xi's works. It is inevitably that any annotation has the branding of the individual. In Wang Bi's times, the metaphysics is very popular, and in Zhu Xi's times, neo-confucianism got it's prosperity, the background of them impacted their work. From Zhou Yi Zhu, we can see the how the ontology thoughts changed Wang Bi's idea. And neo-confucianism gave Zhu Xi the concept to deal with the relationship between Li and Qi, so as to Xiang, Shu,Chi. Yi as a book of divination is the brightest idea of Zhu Xi. The writer's concept of annotation also has a direct effect on the practice. The sixth part, the conclusion. We explore the laws of annotation activities which have the comments and annotation text as the core. We find a way to keep the original standard significance, and to innovate the annotation methods. We also involve the readers' understanding and acceptance.
