| Chronic Atrophic Gastritis was a type of Chronic gastritis, which had the characters of shrinking of the gastric epithelium and glandulars, swamping of the mucosa, thickening of muscularis mucosae and metaplasia and atypical hyperplasia of intestinal epithelium.The rate which Chronic atrophic gastritis in China developed into cancer was about 3% -5%.Currently there was no unified and effective way for Western Medicine to treat Chronic Atrophic Gastritis, they mainly adopted the symptomatic treatment such as changing the bad eating habits, eliminating Helicobacter Pylori, improving gastric motility and reducing the countercurrent of bile,utilizing of vitamin and garlicin and the nutrition factor's treatment of gastric mucosa.According to the symptoms, Chronic Atrophic Gastritis was assigned to TCM's "stomachache", "WeiPi" and so on. Patients with Chronic Atrophic Gastritis had some qualities that the stomach was weak for aeipathia, they did not pay attention to the DO-it-yourself service precautions and exogenous pathogens affect body.All make the gas weaker Owing to the absence of the QiXue, the blood flow slowly, which gradually came into being the gore. It could improve gastric motility and promoting blood circulation. Clinical Application winned award-good effect, so it deserved the further clinical and experimental research.[Objective]:We took stock of the clinical curative effect and security of treating Chronic Atrophic Gastritis (Chronic Atrophic Gastritis CAG) of WeiWei Soup by the methods of RcT,single-blinda. We could objectively evaluate the clinical curative effect and security of CAG after statsing and analysing. We examined the imaginable mechanism of WeiWei Soup in order to lay the foundation for the future deeper research.[Methods] 1, We did the clinical study by the methods of RcT,single-blind. All the patients were from the inpatients who were cured by outpatient clinic and sick bay of The Second Chinese Medicine Hospital's Digestive System Department. All the case were conform to the inclusive criteria and exclusion criteria of CAG cases.There were 56 patients who were diagnoses as CAG by endoscopy and biopsy. We divided these cases into treatment group and control group by use of block randomized controlled clinical trial methods; treatment group(30 patients)were given WeiWei Soup, control group(26 patients)were given Weifuchun.It was pivotal for us to Observe the exchange of these symptoms such as stomach pain, fullness, belching, fatigue, poor appetite eat less, noisy stomach, loose stools, tongue, pulse, outcome of the endoscopic examination and pathology before and after treatment.2, We took 70 SPF SD rats that were weighing 180-220g. chose female and male in half, regular fed, and selected male and a female constructively as a control group, the remaining rats were replicated CAG model by adopting uncontrolled drinking water methyl-nitro-nitrosoguanidine (MNNG) of 1500μg/ml and Irregular diet free, after 3 consecutive months, randomly selected five animals and quickly got stomachs. after breaking theirs'cervical. After the pathological examination judged the success of animal model of CAG, weighing and grouping,10/group, the model animals were randomly divided into model group, Weifuchun group (0.54g/ kg), Weiwei Soup Gao (20.8 g crude drug/kg), medium(10.4 g crude drug/ kg), low (5.2 g crude drugs/kg) dose group (4 times,2 times,1 times the clinical dose equivalent). We gave drugs to each group according to the dose, 10ml/kg, Qd, blank control group were given equal volume of distilled water for 12 weeks. We could observe and record the instance of drinking water, mental status, activity, reactivity, coat, stool, weight changes of the rats during the experiment and test the level of gastric acid, serum SOD, serum MDA, serum gastrin pigment content according to the requirements of test case.Results:1. Clinical trial results showed:After the treatment, by the Pearson Chi-square testing, treatment group'clinical symptoms and the degree of improvement of physical sign were superior to the control group and it possessed statistically significant difference (P<0.05 or P <0.01); the clinical efficacy and efficacy of TCM symptoms showed that the summation of the cure rates and the total effective rate of the treatment group estimated 73.3% and 80.0%. In the control group the cure rate and total effective rate were 34.6% and 46.1%.Comparing the two groups, they all possessed statistically significant differences (P <0.05).2, Animal experimental results showed:After 12 weeks'treatment, animals'coat color, mental status, appetite, bowel movements, activities of the treatment group all had different levels of improvement, but WeiWei Soup high and medium dose group were the best superior to the WeiWei Soup low-dose group and Weifuchun group. The average thickness of drug-treated gastric mucosa, gastric juice PH, total acidity of gastric juice, serum gastrin, serum SOD, serum MDA content of the treatment group were superior to the model group (both P<0.01), however, WeiWei Soup's high,middle dose group were notably more different than Weifuchun group (with P<0.01 or P<0.05).[Conclusion] 1,The state of CAG Characterized by PiXuXueYu seem to be better after using of WeiWei Soup, which could eliminate or improve the fullness, poor appetite and other symptoms, improve patient endoscopic mucosal changes, gastric mucosal gland atrophy and intestinal metaplasia, dysplasia and pathological changes of gastric mucosal atrophy lesions and alleviate the suffering of patients. Clinical research process did not find significant adverse reactions, the indicators of the main safety checks (such as blood, urine, stool, liver and renal function and ECG) before and after treatment were no specific changes, it noted the dosage which was determined in accordance with the research program was safe.2, We copied GAG rat model by using MNNG and irregular diet.General observation, gastric mucosa's eye view and pathological observation showed that animal models answered for the clinical and pathological features of human CAG.. WeiWei Soup could improve the quality of life and reduce the PH value of gastric juice (P<0.01)of CAG rat model, elevated serum gastrin levels (P<0.01), increased SOD activity (P<0.01), decreased MDA content (P<0.01), and WeiWei Soup's high and medium dose group were superior than the control drug Weifuchun as well.3, Animal studies had shown that the treatment of Chronic Atrophic Gastritis was best by using high dose, therapeutic dose presented some positive correlations.
