Study On The Licensed Pharmacists Association In China And The Strategies For Its Development

Chinese society is undergoing a gradual reform process. In the process, the social structure has undergone profound changes, various non-profit organizations are at an unprecedented pace and scale of development together. In recent years, licensed pharmacists association as an integral part of the non-profit organizations has raised and played a certain role in contacting with the government, licensed pharmacists groups and related businesses and markets, and in establishing and maintaining the order of the pharmaceutical market and career development. But it also faces many deep-seated problems to be resolved urgently. The problems are that the relations of association and the government, licensed pharmacists groups and related businesses are not straighten out, the functions of them are not perfect, the management systems of them are unreasonable, etc.First of all, this paper discussed the concept, characteristics, the nature, and functions of the association of licensed pharmacists and its attribution to the classification of non-profit organizations also in china, on the basis of study on the previous theory and practice of non-profit organizations.Second, based on empirical research, this paper specifically introduced the development of licensed pharmacists association's basic situations in China, including the number, establishment time, the number of members, the formation, composition, funding sources, office facilities, the difficulties , and the evaluation of the exercise of the functions of the Association of Licensed Pharmacists currently running.Third, under the view of system theory, this paper analyzed various factors impacting the development of the licensed pharmacists association in China, including internal factors and external environment. Internal factors include, for example, formation mechanism, the exercise of the functions, human resources, funding, office facilities, Will age. The external environment includes the general environment (economic, political, social, and technical ;) and the specific environment (the Government, members, competitors, donors, volunteers, and so on). Fourth, this paper introduced the relevant circumstances of foreign association of licensed pharmacists in the external environment and internal factors, such as the state's non-profit organizations governance, coordination of the Association with the Government, the relevant legislative, regulatory agencies, funding sources and the incentives to volunteers. At the same time, this paper introduced the internal operational mechanism of pharmacists association in the United States, the British royal pharmacists association, the Japan pharmacists association, the Canadian association of licensed pharmacists association and the Hungarian pharmacists association, such as the formation, organizations and major functions. At last, this paper summed up the development characteristics of foreign licensed pharmacists and the enlightenment to China.Fifth, on the basis of referencing relevant experience in the foreign association of licensed pharmacists development, this paper analyzed the development characteristics, main existing problems, tendentious issues and the causes.Finally, this paper pointed out the proposals and measures that was suitable for China's national conditions and characteristics of the licensed pharmacists association to promote the continuous development of the licensed pharmacists association.
