object(A)To compare and analyze the reliability,validity,the reaction of the efficacy and evaluation characteristics for the Chinese medicine of Chinese Menopause Rating Scale,KI and menopausal quality of life scale for.(B)To find advantages and disadvantages of each scale through comparative analysis and results showed that Chinese Menopause Rating Scale for menopause syndrome was scientific and reliable for the study of Chinese medicine.MethodThe study was divided into two phases.The first phase is the multi-center investigation and research of scale,using the method of cross-sectional survey.The second phase is a clinical study,which is prospective,multi-center,double-blind,randomized,and controlled,and to evaluate the scale in further clinical use.To evaluate the results from two phases on the validity,reliability,responsiveness and the characteristics of Chinese medicine.resultThe internal consistency reliability and split-half reliability of the letter of Chinese Menopause Rating Scale are satisfactory,even above 0.9.The scale has good internalconsistency.The dimensions and each dimension of the structural factors are relatively clear.In this study, the results of all esteem and each dimensions factor analysis show that the structure of menopause syndrome scale is consist with the basic theory concept.Reliability of KI was 0.73 and 0.54.It appeared lower for the general scale to be above 0.7.Through exploration of the factor analysis we can found the structure of KI validity is not satisfactory and the structure and level of the scale could not be saw clearly.The attribution of esteem is confused.So we consider the KI will be limited in clinical use.On the whole,the reliability and validity of KI is not enough.Reliability of MBNQOL is ideal.Generally the reliability of each dimension was greater than 0.8 and the total reliability reached 0.9.There are larger differences in the evaluation of MENQOL structure validity study.The analysis of investigation data showed that the dimension of MENQOL was not clear enough,and the esteem attribution was confused.The analysis using clinical data showed that the dimension of MENQOL was better and esteem attribution was also confused.The main reason we think was that there were patients with menopause syndrome and those without menopause syndrome in investigation stage,however there were only patients with menopause syndrome in clinical stage.In short,MENQOL reliability was ideal,but the validity appeared unstable when the MENQOL was used in population of different nature.For different types of syndrome,KI,MENQOL.and two types of syndrome in rating scale for menopause syndrome are analyzed by t-test.The results showed that Chinese Menopause Rating Scale have in each dimension have the typical symptoms to show stimulated status of syndrome with yin insufficent and body insufficent function of deficiency of kidney-YANG.There is only P＜0.05 of hectic fever and sweating in KI.It has statistical significance.There is only P＜0.05 hot flashes in climacterium scale has statistical significance.For reliability and validity analysis of different type,it becomes lower when the KI is divided into kidney yin and yang Syndrome,only about 0.5.The validity of the structure is still disorder.Its reliability and validity are not ideal in both classification or not classification for KI,.MENQOL reliability is still relatively satisfactory,reaching more than 0.9.but the validity of the structure of any type evaluation is relatively poor,so that characteristics of the MENQOL scale features is obviously affected by the special population,it should be affect the use of the scale. Chinese Menopause Rating Scale reliability is ideal,reaching more than 0.9.apart from the factor level of physical dimensions is slightly mess.in kidney yin deficiency.The whole validity of rating is clear and stable.So we believe that Chinese Menopause Rating Scale is stability for different groups.conclusionChinese Menopause Rating Scale has good validity,reliability and responsiveness,and it is the first time that accordance to the method of psychological to sthudy and make menopause syndrome scale for Chinese medicine strictly in our county.Chinese Menopause Rating Scale is better than the existing scale for evaluating the effect of Chinese medicine treatment to menopause syndrome...
