Craniofacial Retractor Into The Bone Of Basic Research And Clinical Application

Objective:To investigate the effects of Chinese recipe of replenishing kidney and activating blood circulation (Bushen Huoxue recipe, BSHX) on learning and memory failing and on apoptosis in mice following transient ischemia.Methods:The animals were randomly divided into several groups, which included normal, model, presu-operation, treatment with BSHX recipe, treatment with Erigeron breviscapus Hand-Mazz (EBHM,control Chinese medicine) and treatment group with Aniracetam (Ani,control west medicine) .The model was established in mice by obstructing bilateral common carotid arteries. Space learning and memorial ability was tested in Morris water maze. The qualitative and quantitative analysis of apoptosis in mice hippocampus were performed by using Hoechst 33342 & Propicium Iodide (PI) staining and flow cytometry.Results:(1) The average latency of model mice were statistically longer than control group (p<0.05~0.01). The BSHX group's latency was significantly shorter than model's (p<0.05).(2) The mean percentage of apoptosis cells in model mice was increased after transient ischemia, and reached the peak at 6 hours after reperfusion (p<0.01, vs. control).(3) The mean percentage of apoptosis cells in BSHX group was significantly lower than that in the model group.Conclusion:...
