Objective:TO observe the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion on adjusting the physical and mental states of Germans.Methods:No. 1, Physical and mental states are the subjective sensation of patients and the self-sensations of different patients are not identical. The physical and mental states of the patients were objectively evaluated before and after treatment and the evaluation were determined according to the The Measuring Scales of Physical and Mental States published by Germany Hfcbf! University and the self-recounting of patients.No. 2, Four measuring scales (about affective state, general mental state, comprehensive mental state and physical state) were selected to observe and evaluate the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion on adjusting the physical and mental states of Germans.No. 3, In treating group, the acupoints such as Guanyuan(CV4), Qihai(CV6), Hegu(LI4), Neiguan(PC6), Zusanli(ST36), Yanglingquan(GB34), Yinlingquan(SP9), Sanyingjiao(SPG), Taichong(LRS), Feishu(BL13), Jueyinshu(BL14), Xinshu(BL15), Dushu(BL16), Geshu(BL17), Ganshu(BL18), Danshu(BL19), Pishu(BL20), Weishu(BL21), Shenshu(BL23), etc were selected to treat with acupuncture and some patients with the syndrome of serious cold-damp accumulation were treated with acupuncture and moxibustion of the points above mentioned.One time everyday and five days as a course. Stop two days and continue next course. Two courses were carried out altogether. The control group was only treated with common therapy such as chirapsia, talking a walk and hot-spring bath and no acupuncture and moxibustion. Results:200 cases of patients were randomly divided into treating group (100 cases) and control group (100 cases) and the basic statuses of the two groups (sex, age and the classify of psychosomatic disorder) are similar. After treatment, the effect on improvement of affective state, general mental state, comprehensive mental state and physical state of treating group are superior to that of control group. Conclusion:There is a satisfactory effect of acupuncture and moxibustion on German psychosomatic disorder. Acupuncture and moxibustion is a simple therapy that is easy to carry out.
