ObjectivesTo observe the efficacy and safety of Chinese medicine XiangLian on topical Treatment on tinea pedis. Through this clinical trial Induction and perfect the drug evaluation indexes of topical treatment tinea and constructing the topical treatment tinea evaluating platform.MethodsThis study uses clinical epidemiology/DME method and designs a prospective, multicenter, randomized, single-blind parallel controlled clinical trials. After one month results wer evaluated. Efficacy evaluation index has healed rate, clinical symptom score, fungi clearance, recurrence rates, Dermatology Life Quality Index, the photos, cost-effect analysis. Safety index including adverse reactions, routine blood routine urine, liver liver function, kidney liver function and electrocardiogram.Through literature study and combining with the clinical trial, inductiving evaluation indexes and constructing effect assessment platform.ResultAfter 2 weeks of stopping treatment, results wer evaluated. Recovery rate,clinical effectiveness and fungi clearance rate of Chinese medicine XiangLian is 55.8%,98.77%,76.92% respectively. The quality of life score linearly declined. Compared with control there are no significant differences. But the cost of the treatment group is more than that of control group. Healed rate, clinical symptom score, fungi clearance, recurrence rates, Dermatology Life Quality Index, the photos, cost-effect analysis and Safety index are important indexes about topical therapy effect assessment of teating tinea pedis.ConclusionTraditional Chinese medicine XiangLiang is a topical treatment safe and effective drug on tinea. its effect is equivalent to western medicine Terbinafine Hydrochloride cream.
