Background Tinea pedis is a kind of infectious skin disease with high recurrence rate, which is caused by pathogenic dermatophytes, a kind of superficial skin fungal in the foot. Tinea pedis is an epidemiology wildly prevalence, no matters the living standard is high or not. For workers who often wear robber boots, the prevalence rate of this disease can reach more than 80%[1]. As there are differences in the species of fungal that cause the disease, the physical character and personal hygiene habits of patient who suffer from the disease, the clinical manifestations vary accordingl. The tinea pedis is usually classified into five types: hyperkeratosis, vesicular, interdigital erosive, tinea corporis and papulosquamous. The blister of tinea pedis is frequently occurred in the toes and the foot margins of the patient, whose skin surface shows a cluster or sporadic small blisters, accompanied by itching. The blister is characterized as deep site, blister wall hard to be worn out, no flush, a few days before absorption and peeling. Severe foot lesions may spread around constantly, sometimes accompanied by small blisters interconnecting into a large one. Blister fluid is clear or slightly yellowish white, and becomes yellow if combined with bacterial infection. Blister type of tinea pedis may occur in each season, commonly in the summer, being recurrent and refractory, bringing many inconvenience to patients. The effect of only apply topical anti-fungal ointment in the treatment can not make patients satisfactory. orally taken anti-fungal agents, such as itraconazole and fluconazole, have large side effects on the function of liver and kidney. When taking the oral antifungal agents, patients need numerous examinations of the liver and the kidney functions. In this paper, in order to strengthen the anti fungal effect, traditional Chinese medicine lotion was utilized by soaking the affected areas, which decreased the side effects of drugs. Based on clinical data and long-term detailed clinical observation, by comparing the therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine lotion combined with topical anti-fungal agents and that of simple topical anti-fungal drugs for treating blisters type tinea pedis, the best clinical treatment of blister type tinea pedis was provided. Objectives By clinical observating the therapeutics effect of traditional Chinese medicine lotion combining with terbinafine hydrochloride cream treatment on the blister type tinea pedis and terbinafine hydrochloride cream treatment only, to provide scientific basis for clinical treatment of bullous type tinea pedis and provide the best choice.Method Based on the method of clinical randomized and parallel control research, 120 cases of bullous type of tinea pedis patients were divided into treatment group and control group. 65 cases in the treatment group, were treated with the therapy of combination of traditional Chinese medicine lotion(decoction of traditional Chinese medicine: Pseudolaric 30 g, dittany bark 30 g, chinaberry bark 30 g, Confucius 30 g, Fructus Cnidii 30 g, Cortex Phellodendri chinensis 30 g, Coptis chinensis 30 g, dried alum 30 g, Radix Sophorae Flavescentis 30 g, Stemona 30 g) and hydrochloric acid Binet butenafine hydrochloride cream; 55 cases in the control group, were treated by only coating terbinafine hydrochloride cream; course of treatment was four weeks, after which microscopic examination of fungal was adopted.Continuous three times of microscopic fungi observations negative was considered as cure. The three detection times were followed by four weeks treatment, a month after the completion of the treatment, two months after the completion of the drug. Due to the relatively severe pain brought by tinea pedis and its long treatment cycle, no case was treated with placebo as blank control group. Results 1, The total effective rate of the treatment group was 87.69% while the total effective rate of the control group was 78.18%, so the difference was significant(P < 0.05), and the effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group. 2,The treatment process, the treatment group and the control group had no obvious adverse reactions, which showed that the choice of drug safety and reliability.(P?0.05) 3, The treatment group cured by pruritus accounted for 4.17%, accounted for 37.04% of the control group after cure pruritus. The difference between the two groups was very significant(P < 0.05).Conclusions 1.Pseudolaricis Cortex Phellodendri decoction combined with terbinafine hydrochloride cream in the treatment of bullous type of tinea pedis, strengthen the antifungal efficacy of terbinafine. 2.Pseudolaricis Cortex Phellodendri decoction combined with terbinafine hydrochloride cream in the treatment of bullous type of tinea pedis can reduce the adverse reactions of the Tinea pedis. 3.Pseudolaricis Cortex Phellodendri decoction combined with terbinafine cream in the treatment of bullous type of tinea pedis can reduce the recurrence rate of tinea pedis...
