Research On Regional Industrial Ecological System

The sustainable development is the concern of current industrial economic researches. In a relatively long period, the industrial system of our country has undergone the path of development featuring lowering the price of resources and environmental carrying capacity, thus making the conflicts between industrial development and the nature more and more prominent. Under the general trend of sustainable development, how to coordinate the relationship between the industrial system and the nature and realize industrial sustainable development becomes a new theme for the future industrial development of our country.Under such a context, this paper discussed the industrial sustainable issue from the perspective of building a regional industrial ecological system. This paper discussed the process, trend, laws of industrial development and the effects as well as deficits of the traditional mode of industrial development on the basis of the complex system theory in combination with current researches on industrial development. Based on above, this paper, through analyzing the dynamic path of industrial development influenced by multi-factors, built a region-leveled industrial ecological system, which is harmonious, balanced, both structurally and functionally rational and stable, with leading industries and diversified industries included.Based on the analysis on the relationship between regional industrial ecological system and industrial structural improvement, industrial cluster, industrial division on regional basis, this paper proved that basic theories of industrial ecological system apply in many crucial links in industrial development. According to this paper, building industrial ecological system is essential to structural improvement of industry, industrial division, and the enhancement of industrial competitiveness. The term "ecological" in "industrial ecological system" not only implicates the relationship between industrial system and nature, but also has the implication of a perspective of complex system, that is, examining components of and the environment surrounding industrial system from the theoretical assumption of coordination and inseparability. Therefore, the principles of industrial ecology can be applied to the practice of industrial development, so as to expand the analytical frame of current industrial economy, and to come up with new ways for understanding and predicting industrial development in an all round way. After identifying the theoretical logic of regional industrial ecological system, this paper, starting with the complex nature of regional industrial ecological system, discussed the core and supporting structure of such a complex system and how to assess such a complex system, as well as how to conduct its risk analysis, including risk factor identification, early warning and alleviation.
