With the deepening of economic globalization and the acceleration change of technology, manufacturing is facing pressure and challenges from various aspects, as well as gaining many development opportunities. Supply chain has increasingly become the mainstream of competition pattern in the enterprise business activities. As a complex system of "market opportunities driven", the composition or disintegration of the supply chain depends on the existence and disappearance of market opportunity entirely. Moderate stability is a necessary condition for the growth and development of supply chain. The variable of business operation mode and the benefit maximization pursued by each enterprise in the chain, which is caused by intrinsic complexity of supply chain and external complexity around environment, has increased the instability of supply chain. There is a huge risk of supply chain under the influence of all kinds of unstable factors. Further study on the stability of the supply chain operations will reduce the uncertainty and operational risk effectively. The improvement of the level of supply chain operation management has a very important influence on the whole competitive ability of supply chain. Self-organization is the fundamental mechanism of supply chain to adapt to the environment changes. Supply chain forms their own order through the self-organization to adapt to the environment, and feedback environmental change to system interior, so as to achieve own evolution.Based on the self-organization theory, the dissertation researched the stability of supply chain and supply chain management theory by considering supply chain self-organization evolution conditions, approaches and dynamics. Firstly, beginning with supply chain complexity, the study defined the stability of supply chain. Next, the dissertation analyzed the precondition evolving from supply chain to dissipative structure and supply chain entropy flow. By applying low-concentration brusselator to simulate self-organization behavior of supply and dissipative structure evolution, the dissertation researched transfer mechanism of order and disorder in supply chain system. Following, connecting the entropy produced in the process of supply chain and the stability in mutation theory, the dissertation researched the entropy production basing on information stream, freight stream and capital stream, and evaluated the stability by using catastrophe progression method. Finally, combining synergetics with system dynamic(SD) theory, the dissertation built a 4-level supply chain SD model which simulating the self-organization process of system evolution, and judged supply chain stability according to the metric concluded from the curve shape of subsystem stock. On account of above content, the dissertation explains the stability of supply chain by considering macro-view, medium-view and micro-view three aspects. At the macro-view, the steady supply chain can turn into an ordered system and keep ordered construction. And to build dissipative construction or not decides the stability of supply chain. At the medium-view, stable entropy is the probabilistic index to evaluate the stability which shows up relative uncertainty due to the interaction between internal and external to supply chain. At the micro-view, the steady supply chain can complete system functions continually and sustain in a related scope. Meanwhile, the fluctuation number of stock can measure the stability.
