The Internet has developed deeply into the various sections of the national economy which plays an important role in people’s life and work, being a great power for promoting social rapid progress. However, due to the shortcomings of the original Internet design, traditional Internet gradually revealed many drawbacks, such as:poor security, low reliability, weak manageability and so on. In order to solve these drawbacks, based on the idea of the 973 project "Research on integrated Trusted Network and Pervasive service system", we designed a new network architecture. Our research mainly focused on the key technologies integrated network, such as the effectiveness, reliability and security of resource storage, retrieval and data transmission, and mobility supporting. This dissertation firstly analyzed the traditional network via real data measurement to show the security and reliability problems. In order to solve these shortcomings, using clouding computing and multi-path techniques, we proposed a new network architecture based on the integrated network proposed in 973 project. Secondly, a new name system is designed in the universal service layer and the reliability is analyzed. Finally, the transmission and mobility performance of the integrated network is analyzed to show the good performance of the proposed architecture. The main contents and innovations are as follows:(1) We analyzed user network behavior in the traditional Internet account registration and MMS user behaviors of mobile networks based on measurement. In the traditional Internet account registration analysis, we found the complexity of both user name and password are very low, and there is a strong correlation between a user name and password, which reflects the low security awareness of users. Secondly, we analyzed the traditional mobile networks based on MMS user behaviors. The conclusion is that the amount of users sending and receiving MMS follow power law distribution. The size of MMS is limited. The MMS storage time is very low. This brings down users’ experience.(2) The traditional network is insecurity and inefficiency of resources storage and data transmission, we improved the net architecture of integrated network proposed in 973 project. Based on universal service layer and routing layer in integrated network, we proposed the following changes. Firstly, the universal service layer is optimized by the consists of resource pools and users. Integrated network resource pool is used to store, registration and retrieval network resources anytime anywhere which improves the scalability. In routing layer, using the idea of multi-path transmission, we achieved a multi-channel transmission scheme. This design enhances the security of transmission, the confidentiality of the data, and the time needed for downloading data. Theoretical analysis and simulation results showed that this network architecture has advantages in security, scalability and reliability.(3) Owning to the traditional name system has lots of shortcomings, such as load unbalance, vulnerable to DoS attacks and for the name system users to quickly find and access to network resources, we proposed a new name system in the universal service layer of the integrated network which is based on Chord and multipath technique. The system allows multiple chunks registration so as to improve the reliability and timeliness. We built a reliability model to analyze the successful rate of service providing. The theoretical analysis and simulation results showed that the new system based on multi path technique has high reliability. Further, we analyzed the whole name system in universal service layer and got the important parameters which affect the reliability, which provide a reference for designing a more reasonable network architecture.(4) In order to test the reliability and mobility of the improved integrated network, this paper analyzed the performance of the integrated network by modeling and simulation. Firstly, the multi-path transmission performance is analyzed in the routing layer of integration network. We built a path failure recovery model. The simulation results showed that the multi-path transmission mechanism can greatly improve the success rate of communication and data transmission reliability. Then, the mobility performance is compared between integrated network and traditional Internet. The conclusions is that under the same switching frequency, integrated network has better performance in the packet loss rate and delay performance which makes for connection continuity problems in the mobile environment.
