As network develops, converged network service becomes to contain richer capability such as multimedia, high-speed rate, which will help user more convenient to use. However, there are still some gaps between users and services. The reason of gap comes from different aspects, which mainly because the relationships between "user", "network" and "service".The "network" in this thesis includes telecommunication network and internet.This thesis will begin with discussing relationships between "user", "network" and "service", which include how to use network represent user relationship, how to deal with service effects of network collaboration and how to gather human centric requirement and implement the human centric service.As it is known, network is a representation of human relationship. This kind of relationship will help to find out potential service and user group. However, current network ignores this kind of relationship. It is hard for current network to make use of the relationship. On the other hand, network information sharing or dissemination is another emerging problem in network environment. These two requirements are combined together in the research, a community based distributed structure is proposed. This structure uses a tree structure for intercommunity dissemination. So it can provide the relationship as well as the information dissemination function.Then a service triggering research is proposed, which is about the relationship between network and service. Current triggering schema is a passive model which follows BCSM model. However, new service style (such as light weight service or client application) demands a different type of triggering. In the study, a gaming theory based service triggering model is designed. That model maps the triggering procedure into gaming model. Depending on different gaming models, cooperative model and non-cooperative model will be discussed separately. Based on it, a light weight service framework is proposed.After that, study focuses on dealing with the relationship between human and service. Using human computer interaction concept, the study introduces HCI model into telecom service development. A service development support framework that is based on cognitive model is proposed. Besides, a technology probe for gathering service requirement is presented. It will help developers to gather service requirement from end users.Overall, this thesis focuses on three different aspects. And human centric computing is the chain that connects them together.
