The Research Of Risk Management In Design Project

The research object of this paper is a collaborative innovation project based on a combination of cultural creative design and navigation satellite civilian industry, by introducing design project risk management theory research, intends to seek the theoretical support for increasingly complex design domain in our country. Since our “2011” collaborative innovation plan is proposed, the cooperative innovation mode between the cultural creative design and manufacturing industry brings new methods for people to solve complex problems. Taking Beidou navigation civilian research project as an example, it shows the characteristics of urgent need by country and leading position of the world. Its complexity, diversity, crossing field require collaborative innovation to solve. It brings more innovative challenges and more creative space for Chinese art academy today. Therefore, in the premise of the pursuit of design innovation, focus to the design quality, and satisfaction to client design demand, the research has a certain theoretical value and practical guiding significance to the study of risk management in the project design. This paper is based on the theoretical framework and the view of design management, integrating the theory and models of the risk management, the project risk management and the design risk management, and is trying to explore how to effectively control the risk of design.Based on the research of the related theory of design management, design project management, design risk and collaborative innovation and so on, through the analysis of the interview and case studies of the practices of the design managers, and in-depth study of the project risk management, the main research contents include the following several parts:First, the relative method and the principle of the design project risk management in China and overseas is studied and concluded. The basic characteristics of design project management, and the theory and method of the design project risk management are further studied. Therefore, the theory basis of the management of design project risk is constructed as theory foundation for further research.Second, this paper analyzes and demonstrates the feasibility and validity of the identification and assessment theory of risk in the design project, through the case study of the alliance of creative design and satellite navigation industry.Third, this paper explores and conducts the basic theory of the risk identification and assessment through the collaborative Innovation design project between cultural creative design and Beidou navigation. The risk factors of the design project are analyzed through building the path of risk dynamic critical chain of the design project, and studying the risk classification and identification of design project. The paper concludes the risk assessment theory of design project from following four aspects: the principle of assessment of risk dynamic critical chain of the design project, risk transfer weight, risk trigger weight, TOC resource allocation and restrain mechanisms. Based on the research of the above three parts, this paper tries to explore how to manage the risk in the design projects, especially the risk in collaborative innovation between creative design and Beidou satellite navigation industry. And this paper tires to provide the design project managers, designers and students in design academies more theories, research methods and real case studies, based on the principles of the project risk management for collaborative innovation project between cultural creative design and Beidou navigation, and the principles and mechanisms of risk management of the design project, and the risk strategies, risk prevention, risk tolerance and risk sharing.
