The dissertation contents two parts: documentary research and clinical research.Documentary researchBy quantities of documentary data, chief achievements that the hemiplegia was treated by the Chinese medicine and herbs in successive dynasties, have been systemically reviewed; the modern researching developments of therapeutic principles and methods of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (abbr.TCM) and western medicine have also been concluded and analyzed. By analyzing main issues in the past synthetic rehabilitation program of hemiplegia, it is put forward that taking-in modern rehabilitation medicine concept and functional evaluation methods, keeping views of TCM syndromes and differentiation of syndromes to rehabilitate, remaining and enriching unique and synthetic rehabilitation skills of TCM and so on and so forth, are main ways to developing rehabilitation medicine advantage of TCM and western medicine, establishing hemiplegia rehabilitation program of TCM.Clinical researchPurpose: By observing clinical therapeutic effects of hemiplegia caused by ischemic stroke and influence of experimental relative indexes using different rehabilitation methods of TCM,western medicine, probe into and analyze the clinical effects similarities and differences of TCM,western medicine rehabilitation program. From hygiene-economics point of view, two kinds of rehabilitation programs have been researched comparatively to inquiry into effective ways to controlling medical cost. Methods: Using research methodof randomly contrast, divide 55 cases of patients with hemiplegia caused by ischemic stroke into two groups: TCM rehabilitation group and western medicine group, each group 30 cases. The TCM rehabilitation group is treated by TCM synthetic rehabilitation program for ischemic stroke; while the western medicine rehabilitation group is treated by western medicine synthetic rehabilitation program. After 4 weeks, two groups of patients were assessed from two parts of clinical therapeutic effects and experimental examination. The evaluation of clinical therapeutic effects contents two groups synthetic and therapeutic effects, moving function, everyday life ability, living quality, impairment of cognitive function, compliance of rehabilitation training and complications . And the experimental examination includes pre-treatment and post-treatment index changes in lipidemia, hemorrheology, immunology. Two-group hygiene-economics'are researched by the method of cost-result analysis. Result: Compared with the western medicine rehabilitation group, the rehabilitation treatment compliance of TCM rehabilitation group is better, there are significant differences (P<0.05)in aspects of improving coloboma degree of nervous function, enhancing the cure rate, regulating disorder of immune system, improving life quality of patients and decreasing complications after stroke. The ratio of cost to result of TCM rehabilitation group is obviously lower than that of western medicine. Conclusion: There are exact therapeutic effects for the hemiplegia caused by ischemic stroke which treated by synthetic rehabilitation program of TCM or western medicine. Contrasted with the western medicine, the TCM synthetic rehabilitation program can evidently lower TCM syndrome integral, coloboma degree of nervous function, improve life quality, raise the compliance of rehabilitation training, decrease complications after stroke, and its ration of cost to result is the lowest, so it is thought to be a economical and effective rehabilitation treatment program for hemiplegia.
