Objective:To observe linical application and economic evaluation on comprehensive treatment of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in acute ischemic stroke. Methods:The trail was randomly divided into two groups which were a treat group(28cases) and a control group(28cases).The control group is treated with basic treatment and rehabilitation,the treatment group is treated with specific patent Chinese medicine targeting the corresponding syndrome,composite salvia injection or Qingkailing injection massage and "Xing Nao Kai Qiao" acupuncture therapy,etc evaluate the result through international index uch as NIHSS,Fugl-Meyer and ADL . Results:"Feng-tan-yuxue syndrome"is a mostly Chinese medicine syndrome in ischemic stroke in the treatment group(89.3%) and in the control group(92.9%).There is significant difference between treatment group and control group in NIHSS,Fugl-Meyer,ADL.(p<0.05). The cost-effectiveness of the treatment group is better than that of the control group. Conclusions:These results show that treatment of TCM has superiority to basic therapy in improving Fugl-Meyer,ADL ang reducing NIHSS of ischemic stroke patients. The plan is economical and practical.
