With the change of war situation in the new century, in order to adapt the complex battlefield environment, realize the goal of effective damage, the development of high precision and intellectualized ammunition which may be controlled nimbly become hot spot in various countries' war industry domain. The trajectory correction projectile is one kind of typical intellectualized ammunition, one of its important characteristics is that it can identify real-time rolling angle itself, then correct trajectory by implementing machine, attacking the target precisely. This paper research the key technology of projectile rolling angle identification system based on geomagnetism detection.Introducing the geomagnetic field formation mechanism, function characteristic and common geomagnetic field computation model, analyzing the feasibility of geomagnetic field application in projectile rolling angle identification system., using cubic interpolation spline to interpolate the geomagnetic field parameter, introducing some magnetic sensors which may be used in geomagnetism detection.Based on geomagnetism, ballistics and aircraft dynamics, projectile rolling angle identification system model using various dimensions geomagnetic sensor are explored in straight trajectory and curve trajectory. Three methods for calculating projectile rolling angle are put forward, including extreme point connection, table lookup and partition linearity, rolling angle calculation error according to every method are analyzed. In addition the error caused by projectile oscillation is analyzed.Processing the projectile geomagnetism measuring signal based on wavelet analysis theory. Different wavelet functions are used to decompose and filter the signal, the strange value of signal is analyzed. Understanding the projectile working rule via effective digital signal process, provide valuable data to other working modules.Projectile rolling angle identification system electromagnetic compatibility is analyzed based on EMC theory and actual working condition. The EMC design procedures of projectile rolling angle identification system are presented, including electromagnetic shielding design, hardware anti interference design, software anti interference design.In view of the working characteristics and experiment demand of projectile rolling angle identification system, designing the contacting setting system, rolling angle calculation system and rolling angle external measurement system, introducing software and hardware realization plan.A kind of trajectory correction projectile rolling angle identification system is used as experiment platform. The system anti-impact capability, electromagnetic compatibility, information setting veracity and rolling angle measurement precision are test. The experiment results clearly show that the theory of projectile rolling angle identification system is feasible and the system has realistic values for practical uses.
