Membrane structures developed in the middle of 20th century are a new type of large-span spatial structure, which is a typical representative of the spatial structure and its design and analysis are much more complicated than traditional structures'. Form analysis of membrane structures is an important component in design of membrane structures. Despite domestic and overseas study on it is maturing, but most studies only on the design level, and the study on the construction closely related to the design is very little. Basing on tensioned membrane structures'design and construction, this paper studied methods of form-finding analysis, load analysis, cutting pattern analysis and construction analysis of tensioned membrane structures, which methods are made programs. Using these methods and programs, it deeply studied on tensioned membrane structures which considering construction in design and trying to study the integration of design and construction.Architectural membranes use fabric membranes. Fabric membranes are orthotropic and are only tensioned not pressed and bent; They are material nonlinearity; Tensioned membrane structures have characteristics of large deformation and little strain under load and they are geometric nonlinearity. So basing on the nonlinear finite theory and using membrane element, cable element and bar element, this paper goes on nonlinear analysis to tensioned membrane structures and nonlinear equations are solved by the Newton-Raphson iteration method. This paper summarizes form-finding method of membrane patches and finally adopted a small elastic modulus of the self-balancing iterative form-finding method which essence is using supports displacement method to find preliminary form and then using approximate surface approximation method to find exact form. When ratio of rise to span of cables in membrane patches of isostress curved faces is known, it derives explicit formula of initial pre-tension of cables in membrane patches.It makes a program of force-finding analysis of cable-strut system; Using force-finding analysis method and form-finding method of membrane patches, it presentes a method which is form of iterative solution.
