In this paPer, image motion comPensation technology for space high-resolutioncamera and its imPortance is discussed in detail. An practicable method fOrcomPensating results evaluating is also iniroduced.At first, the history and the classification methods of space camera are stated,the designing characteristics of the high-resoluton camera is discussed. It isillustfatCd tha high precision image motion comPensation technology is the keyteclmology in the producing of high-resolution camera. An aPplied method forimage motion comPensating is introduced in the neXt pat of the paPer. The aPpliedimage motion comPensating mechanism is of the charaCteristic of changing load andinertia and make it is very difficult to rea1ize high precision comPensation control.Modem condol systems theory and control methods for load changing mechanismsare also ifitroduced in this part.The calculating method and reIated factOrs are investigatCd profoundly Thestatistical charaCteristics of all factOrs are given according to practical conditions.Statistical characteristics of Image motion speed error are stlldied by Monte-Carlosimulation method. A practical filter is deigned based on the simulation method.The image motion compensation mechanism possesses the traits of changing ofload torque and ineftia. The discipline of the load torque and inertia is analyzedprofoundly and simulation result is given in detail. According to the analysis, ancontrol stratgy is promPted, that is to realize high precision speed cothel byfrequency locking method, to realize load torque compensating colltrol by neuralnetworks load tOrque model.Neural networks' model is established after the basic theory of the aPproachingand genera1ization abilities of neural networks is discussed. Study results based onthe neural networks model given While the image motion comPensation mechanismis differently sited, illustrate that the neural nctworks can fulfill the demand ofenglneerlng.It is very difficult to evaluate the comPensating effect in the producing of spacecamera, so a practical compensating effeCt evaluating system is designed. TheIIequivalellt residual image motion of the comPensating colltfol system andelectromechanical systems are measured and they are very small.
