Scientific Conception Of Model In The Horizon Of Holism

In this dissertation, firstly, I reveal the predicaments in philosophy of science and put forward that the way to solve the predicaments is scientific practice. On the basic, I analyse the necessity and characteristics of building model as a precondition in a scientist's study, and expand the connotation of model from similarity to abstract, and then make model into an essential method in research of science. From the role of philosophy of science, I rethink model and raise my view and way.Secondly, I discuss the history of model studies in philosophy of science. In the early stage, model was ignored and put in a fringe stage in philosophy of science when language analyse was its basic conception. Accompanying with the historic turn, model studies acquired attention and analogy model became the first-emerging conception of model. This article reveals the features and limitations of this conception of model based on similar analogy, explores the basic characters of the conception of semantics model and believes that the conception of model did not get rid of the mathematical formalism and can not show the effects of the model from a broader view, and then analyses philosophy problems introduced by cognition model, and argues that the solving of these problems differs from the two above. Based on the variety of model, I think that it is necessary to bring to light the conception of model in holism horizon.Thirdly, I put forward the basic methodological conception and research strategy concerning the view of model in holism conception, and speciflcly reveal the connotation of holism model and the model's intrinsic nature, formation and function in the conception of holism model, and then raise the methodological principle that should be usedby using in the analytic conception. I believe that only if we are established in holism conception, we can examine the characteristics of scientist's building and applying model in different levels, and the methodological advantage of model in interpreting the basic problem of philosophy of science by holism method in model studies.Fourthly, using the conception of holism model as analytical frame, I reveal the characters and limitations of traditional theoretic structure conception and set forth that it is necessary to introduce model in constructing theory by studying features of theoretic structure of biology, and put forward that the introduction of model will solve the problem that theoretic structure of physics does not contain theoretic structure of biology. On the foundation, I raise the principle of the variety laws of the shift of time and space in constructing theory and give out a basic mode of theoretic structure in the conception of holism model. I think that model play a very important perforating role in scientists' research from studying real system to building finally theory, and physics and biology will get to unified explanation and interpretation.
