Mario Bong is the famous scientists and philosophers at the late 19th early 20th western, one of the main representative of science. Scientific Philosophy is a far-reaching philosophical schools in modern western states, Scientific Realism is an important part of the Scientific Philosophy. In the background of natrual science's rapid development and brilliant achievements, Realism became to rebound.Bong's Scientific Realism focused on dealing with the realationship between science and metaphysics, he thinks science and science research must based on the principle of ontology, who also see the world through science. Science is the partial ontology, ontology is the general science. Bong try to establish accurate phylosophical system, he thinks the accuracy of Phylosophy is possible. Bong adhere to the position of materialist realism, but his definition and description of substance, spirit and concept, so that he fell into the category of in-realism, weakens the materialist realism. Bong's Scientific Realism has a great impact on the later, it strongly promote the development of Materialism and modern science and technology. But, it also has some limitations, one is that it has a tendency of Nihilism and looking on issues stillly, the other is it has a tendency of Neutral Philosophy and Scientism.
