Observation On The Clinical Efficacy Of Different Doses Of Fuxiong Powder In The Treatment Of Pneumonia In Childre

Purpose:To observe the curative effect of different doses of Fuxiong powder combined with basic treatment on children with pneumonia,and explore its dose-effect relationship,so as to provide a theoretical basis for clinical standardized treatment of children with pneumonia(phlegm-heat closed lung type).Material and method:Patients with pneumonia aged 3-4 years and weighing 14kg-20 kg who were admitted to the Department of Pediatrics of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine between December 1,2021 and December 30,2022 were randomly assigned to three different dose groups: low dose,medium dose and high dose,with 20 subjects in each group.On the basis of routine symptomatic treatment,children in low,middle and high dose groups were treated with low dose(25g),medium dose(50g)and high dose(75g)Fuxiong powder,once a day,each time 15 min.Observe the children’s skin condition,analyze the clinical efficacy,calculate the total effective rate,and compare the disappearance time and hospitalization time of the three groups of children.Results:1.After the application of Fuxiong powder,the symptoms of cough,fever,phlegm and shortness of breath were significantly improved in the low,middle and high dose groups,the disappearance time of lung rale was significantly reduced,and the total symptom score of the three groups was significantly decreased(P < 0.01).2.The total effective rate of children in low,middle and high dose groups was 100% after treatment,but there were differences among the three groups: the low dose group was47.4%,the middle dose group was 73.7%,and the high dose group was 75%,and the middle and high dose groups were higher than the low dose group(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the recovery rate between the high-dose group and the middle-dose group(P > 0.05).3.The disappearance time of main symptoms in medium and high dose groups was less than that in low dose group(P < 0.01).There was no significant difference in the disappearance time of main symptoms between high-dose group and medium-dose group(P > 0.05).4.The disappearance time of lung rales in medium and high dose groups was less than that in low dose group(P < 0.01).There was no significant difference between high dose group and medium dose group(P > 0.05).5.No obvious skin adverse reactions were observed in all patients,and only 7 patients(5cases in the high-dose group and 2 cases in the medium-dose group)developed skin flushing symptoms.The symptoms disappeared after drug withdrawal.Conclusion:The dose of Fuxiong powder was not completely positively correlated with the curative effect,and the effect was obvious in the medium and high dose groups,which could effectively reduce the main symptoms and disappearance time of pulmonary signs in children with pneumonia,and the curative effect was significantly better than that in the low dose group.There was no significant difference in efficacy between the medium-dose group and the high-dose group,but the number of skin flushing cases in the high-dose group was higher than that in the medium-dose group.Considering the efficacy,safety,economy and other factors,the moderate dose group is recommended as the appropriate dose.
