| Objective: To inve stigate the clinical e ffect of Chaishao Li ujunzi Decoction in the treat ment of children with short stature(Spleen Qi Deficienc y T ype),and to provide reference for the treatment of children with short stature in traditional Chinese medicine.Methods: From February 2022 to December 2022,a total of 80 children with syndrome di ffere ntiation of Qi de ficienc y in the 3rd to 25 th percentile were collected from t he pediatric clinic of Sichuan Hospital of T raditional Chinese Medicine,and were randoml y assi gned to the treatment group of 40 cases and the control group of 40 cases.The control group was treated with Lysi ne,lnosite and Vit amin B12 Oral Solution,while the treatment group wa s treated with Chaishao Liujunzi Decoction,and both groups were tre ated for 3months and followed up for 3 months.General baseline data,TCM syndrome scores,clinical effica c y and ot her indicators be fore treatment,treatment endpoint,foll0w-up endpoint were statistically anal yzed.Results: Finally,72 cases were included for statistical analysis in this study.1.Comparison of gene ral information: Be fore treatment,there were no si gni ficant diffe rences in gender,a ge,SDS of height,growth rate,birth status,genetic height and othe r general information between the two groups(P>0.05),so the two groups were compa rable.2.Comparison of curative effect: the total effective rate was 91.4% in the treatment group and 5 1.4% in the cont rol group,the di fference was st atistically si gni ficant(P<0.05).After 3 months of t reatment and 3 months of foll0w-up endpoint,the height,weight,height SDS and growth rate of the two groups were increased compared with that be fore treatment,and the increases in the treatment group were more si gni ficant tha n that in the control group,the differences were statistically si gni fica nt(P<0.05).After 3 mont hs of followup,there was no si gni ficant di fference in bone age between the two groups(P>0.05).3.Comparison of TCM syndroms: At the end of treatment and follow-up,the total TCM syndrome scores were reduced compared with those be fore intervention,and the t reatment group decrea sed more than the cont rol group.The treatment group was better than the c ontrol group in improving TCM syndrome such a s a ppetite,food intake,complexion,spirit,and stool symptoms,and the di fference wa s statistically si gni ficant(P<0.001).4.Be fore and a fter the intervention,there were no obvious abnorma lities in the sa fet y i ndicators of all patients,and no adverse e vent s occurred durin g the treatment.Conclusions: The application of Chaishao Liujunzi Decoction in the treatment of children with short stature has a de finite e ffect,and has a good effect in promoting the growth of children’s height and improving t he related symptoms of Spleen Qi de ficienc y syndrome,and the risk is low,which can be further populari zed.. |
