| Purpose: To observe the efficacy and evaluate the safety of Yiqi and blood formula in the treatment of cancer fatigue caused by deficiency of qi and blood,so as to explore new methods and new ideas for the treatment of CRF.Research methods: A total of 68 patients from the tumor hematology Department of Ningxia Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Research Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine who met the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria were collected and informed of the purpose,methods and possible risks of this study.After detailed understanding and agreement of the study protocol,the patients signed informed consent.34 cases were randomly divided into control group(conventional Western treatment)and treatment group(conventional Western treatment + Yiqi and blood prescription).The course of treatment was 3 weeks.Therapeutic indexes were as follows: TCM syndrome score,Piper score,KPS score,changes of main indexes(HB,RBC,WBC)in blood routine and serum albumin changes before and after treatment.Safety indicators mainly include: blood routine,liver function,kidney function,electrocardiogram and adverse event record.Statistical analysis software SPSS 27.01 was used for data analysis,and P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.Research results:Among the 68 cases included,1 case fell off due to irregular medication in the treatment group,1 case fell off due to epidemic failure in the control group,and 1 case fell off due to poor compliance.Finally,65 recipients were included for statistical analysis(32 cases in the control group and 33 cases in the treatment group).The specific results are as follows:(1)The total scores of TCM in both groups were decreased after treatment(P<0.05),and the decrease was more obvious in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05);(2)After treatment,there was no significant difference in the symptoms of numbness of hands and feet between the two groups(P>0.05).The scores in the treatment group of the remaining symptoms were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the symptoms of TCM in both groups were improved after treatment(P<0.05).Compared with the control group before and after treatment,there were no significant differences in the scores of spontaneous sweating,eating less,numbness of hands and feet,insomnia symptoms(P >0.05),and the scores of other symptoms were decreased(P<0.05).(3)After treatment,Piper total score,behavior,emotion,sensation,cognition score and fatigue degree of both groups were decreased(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).(4)After treatment,KPS score and physical strength of both groups were improved(P<0.05),and physical strength of the treatment group was more significantly improved(P<0.05);(5)There were no differences in RBC and WBC between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05),and the levels of HB and ALB in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).(6)Safety evaluation: No obvious adverse reactions were observed in enrolled patients after treatment,and there was no significant difference between all safety indexes and those before treatment.Conclusion: Yiqi and blood formula has definite curative effect on patients with cancer fatigue due to deficiency of qi and blood,without obvious adverse reactions.It can effectively improve the degree of fatigue,relieve clinical symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine,enhance physical strength,improve nutritional status,and improve the quality of life of patients. |
