Clinical Study On The Improvement Of Stage Ⅳ Colorectal Cancer Cancer Fatigue Caused By Qi And Blood Deficiency With Compound Ejiao Chuai Fang

Objective: In recent years,the incidence of colorectal cancer is increasing.Chemotherapy is widely used in clinic as the main treatment means.Cancer induced fatigue is one of the serious adverse reactions after chemotherapy,which has a serious impact on the quality of life of tumor patients and the tolerance of follow-up treatment.However,there are limited methods to improve it and the effect is not good.In this clinical study,by observing the clinical efficacy and safety of compound ejiao decoction in improving cancer-induced fatigue of stage IV colorectal cancer with deficiency of qi and blood,this study provides a new idea for clinical diagnosis and treatment of cancer-induced fatigue,and ultimately achieves the purpose of improving clinical symptoms and quality of life of cancer patients.Method: Sixty-six patients in our hospital who met the criteria(diagnosis and inclusion criteria)were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 33 cases in each group.The treatment regimen in the control group was based on Cape OX chemotherapy regimen and life guidance,while the treatment regimen in the treatment group was based on Cape OX chemotherapy regimen and life guidance,etc.Combined with compound ejiao decoction,the course of treatment was 6 weeks.The improvement of fatigue degree,function status,quality of life,TCM syndrome(Qi and blood deficiency),CA-199,white blood cell,red blood cell and hemoglobin and the safety of the two groups were observed.Results: The treatment group was better than the control group in reducing Piper fatiguescale score,improving KPS score and QOL quality of life score,reducing TCM syndrome score,reducing the occurrence of adverse reactions,increasing red blood cell value and maintaining hemoglobin level,with good safety.However,there was no significant difference in the comparison of CA-199 and leukocyte values between the two groups.Conclusion: Compound ejiao decoction can significantly improve the cause fatigue of cancer with deficiency of Qi and blood in patients with stage IV colorectal cancer,improve the functional status of patients,improve the quality of life,relieve part of the syndrome of deficiency of qi and blood,maintain hemoglobin level,increase red blood cell level,and reduce toxic and side effects with good safety.It is recommended to conduct further clinical research on it.And it can be effectively applied in clinic.
