Clinical Observation Of The Treatment Of Liver-Depressed Polycystic Ovary Syndrome By Jiawei Jieyu Decoction And You Si Yue(Drospirenone And Ethinylestradiol Tablets Ⅱ)

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Jiawei Jieyu Decoction united with You Si Yue(Drospirenone and Ethinylestradiol Tablets II)in patients with liver-depressed polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS),and to explore a more effective combination of Chinese and Western medicine for the clinical treatment of liver-depressed PCOS.Methods: A clinical randomized controlled study was used to collect 60 patients with liver-depressed PCOS who met the inclusion criteria and were randomly divided into 2 groups,with 30 cases each in the observation and control groups.The observation group was treated with Jiawei Jieyu Decoction combined with You Si Yue,while the control group was treated with You Si Yue alone.Respectively,both groups were treated for 3 menstrual cycles,and the clinical efficiency of each group was observed by comparing the clinical symptoms,signs,TCM evidence score,SDS score,glucose and lipid metabolism index,sex hormone level and number of bilateral sinus follicles of the two groups before and after treatment.All data were statistically analysed using SPSS 26.0 statistical software.Result:1.Clinical efficiency: The observation group’s overall effectiveness was higher(P<0.05)than the control group’s,which was 76.67%.The observation group’s total effective rate was86.67%.2.TCM syndrome: Following treatment,patients’ TCM points in both groups dropped considerably(P<0.01),with the observation group experiencing a better decrease(P<0.05).3.SDS scores: SDS scores decreased significantly after treatment in both groups(P<0.01),while observation group experienced a more notable decline than the control group(P<0.01).4.Weight,BMI,WHR,hirsutism,acne and acanthosis nigricans: The weight,BMI,WHR,hirsutism,acne and acanthosis nigricans of patients improved significantly in both groups(P<0.01),and the improvement of BMI,WHR,hirsutism and acanthosis nigricansmore obviously improved in the observation group(P<0.05);the difference in efficacy between the two groups was not significant when comparing weight and acne(P>0.05).5.Lipid profiles: Following therapy,TC,TG,LDL-C,and HDL-C increased in both groups(P<0.05).While the observation group’s TC,TG,and LDL-C levels considerably improved(P<0.05),the difference in HDL-C was not statistically significant(P>0.05).6.Glucose metabolism indexes: FPG,2h PG,FINS,2h INS,and HOMA-IR were all significantly reduced in the observation group(P<0.01)compared to the control group(P<0.05)and 2h PG was not significantly differen(P>0.05).Better decline was seen in the observation group(P<0.05).7.Sex hormone levels: LH,FSH,LH/FSH and T improved in both groups(P<0.05).While the observation group’s LH,LH/FSH and T levels considerably improved(P<0.05),the difference in HDL-C was not statistically significant(P>0.05).8.The number of sinus follicles on both sides: There was a decrease in the number of sinus follicles on both sides in both groups after treatment(P<0.05).When comparing between groups,there was a statistical difference between the observation and control groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Jiawei Jieyu Decoction united with You Si Yue can significantly improve the clinical efficacy of patients with liver-depression type PCOS,with definite efficacy in improving TCM symptoms,relieving adverse emotions,reducing weight,BMI and WHR,reducing hirsutism,acne and acanthosis nigricans,regulating glucolipid metabolism and improving sex hormone levels without serious adverse effects,which provides a new idea for the combination therapy of Chinese and Western medicine for PCOS.
