Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome By Ethinylestradiol And Cyproterone Acetate Tablets Combined With Metformin

Objective To observe the clinical data of the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome by the combination of metformin with Ethinylestradiol and Cyproterone Acetate Tablets.Method According to the clinical diagnostic criteria,we selected 200 cases of PCOS patients at the First Bethune Hospital of Jilin University from September 2016 to September 2017.They were randomly divided into control group and experimental group,100 cases in each group.Control group patients were treated only with Diane-35;on this basis,the experimental group patients were treated with Diane-35 combined with metformin.Both groups were treated for 3 menstrual cycles.According to the exclusion criteria,59 cases were summarized in the control group and 66 cases in the experimental group.Observing and recording the treatment of menstrual condition,and the level of body mass index(BMI),follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),testosterone(T),fasting plasma glucose(FPG),fasting insulin(FINS),total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),high density lipoprotein(HDL),low density lipoprotein(LDL)determination results and calculated LH/FSH ratio and insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR)before and after the treatment.The data was processed by SPSS24.0 statistical analysis software.Results Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference between the control group and the experimental group(P>0.05),the two groups are comparable.After treatment,in control group,the menstrual cycle was significantly improve,menstrual quantity was significantly increased,BMI、LH、LH/FSH、T、FPG、FINS、HOMA-IR、LDL were significantly decreased,HDL was obviously higher,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),but FSH、TC and TG were not significantly decreased(P>0.05);in experimental group,the menstrual cycle was significantly improve,menstrual quantity was significantly increased,BMI、LH、LH/FSH、T、FPG、FINS、HOMA-IR、TC、TG、LDL were significantly decreased,HDL was obviously higher,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),but FSH was not significantly decreased(P>0.05).After treatment,the level of BMI、LH、LH/FSH、T、FPG、FINS、HOMA-IR and TG in experimental group were significantly lower than those in control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant change in menstrual quantity、menstrual cycle、FSH、TC、HDL and LDL between the two groups.The difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion Diane-35 combined with metformin in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome can better improve the clinical symptoms and endocrine level,reduce the body mass index,serum testosterone,luteinizing hormone levels,increase insulin sensitivity,and should be popularized in clinical practice in the department of Gynaecology.
