| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of point-needling and four-suture therapy combined with traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions in children with functional constipation(FC)with milk and food stagnation syndrome, and evaluate its role in improving TCM syndromes, signs, tongue and pulse,in order to provide safer and more effective treatment means for children with FC,and open up new ideas for subsequent research. Methods: In this study,a total of 70 children with FC who met the inclusion criteria were selected from March 2021 to January 2023 in the Department of Pediatrics,Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and divided into two groups according to the principle of simple randomization,namely,35 cases in the experimental group and 35 cases in the control group. The two groups were given routine nursing and light diet;the control group was given the traditional Chinese medicine Zhishi Daozhi decoction with increasing or decreasing oral administration;the experimental group was given the acupuncture and four suture on the basis of the control group. The changes of TCM syndrome, signs, tongue and pulse scores in the two groups were observed before, after and after treatment, and the collected data were analyzed by SPSS 25.0 statistical analysis software. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared and evaluated. Results: 1.70 patients who met the criteria were included in the study and were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group using a simple randomization method. There are 35 patients in each group, and all patients have completed the study. The baseline data and symptom scores of the two groups of subjects, such as age, gender, and course of disease, are comparable(all P>0.05);2.Total score of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms: The total score of the control group before treatment(39.46 ± 3.65),the total score of the experimental group(39.40 ± 3.33),the control group after treatment(19.54 ± 4.86),the experimental group(11.46 ± 3.20),the score of the control group and the experimental group after treatment improved(P<0.05),while the improvement of the experimental group was better(P<0.05)3.Main symptom score: The main symptom score of the control group and the experimental group decreased after treatment(both P<0.05),with the experimental group showing better improvement in three main symptoms: fecal quality, defecation time, and defecation frequency(P<0.05);4.Secondary symptom score: The secondary symptom score of the control group and the experimental group decreased after treatment(both P<0.05),with the experimental group showing better improvement in diet aversion and hand foot heart heat(P<0.05).The efficacy was comparable in abdominal fullness and nausea(P>0.05)5.Physical sign scores: The physical sign scores of both the control group and the experimental group decreased after treatment(both P<0.05),with the experimental group showing better improvement in tongue and fingerprint signs(P<0.05);6.Efficiency: The total effective rate of the experimental group was 91.43%,while the control group had a total effective rate of 77.14%.Through rank sum test statistical analysis,it was found that compared to the control group, the clinical efficacy of the experimental group was more significant(Z=2.796,P<0.01).Conclusion: The combination of four slit acupoints and Zhishi Daozhi Tang has a definite therapeutic effect on the treatment of infantile constipation with milk and food stagnation. It can improve the clinical symptoms of infantile constipation to varying degrees, increase the frequency of defecation, improve quality of life, and has a high safety factor. It is an effective treatment method in traditional Chinese medicine clinical practice, worthy of promotion and research. |
