Objective:To observe the clinical effect of modified Chaihushugan San on the liver-stomach disharmony type of functional dyspepsia(FD)with depression.Methods:1.A total of 72 patients with the liver-stomach disharmony type of FD with depression who met the inclusion criteria were selected from March 2022 to January 2023 in the Fujian Provincial People’s Hospital.According to the random number table method,they were divided into the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group and the western medicine control group,36 patients in each group.2.The Chinese medicine treatment group was given modified Chaihushugan San decoction,while the western medicine control group was given Itopride tablets and Flupentixide Melitracine tablets.Both groups were given medicine for 4 weeks.In this study,a total of 3 patients in the Chinese medicine treatment group and the western medicine control group did not complete the experiment and were not included in the results.3.Clinical data such as gender,age and course of disease were collected;TCM symptom score,HAMD score scale and NDLQI score scale of patients were observed before and after treatment,and the data were recorded.Results:1.Comparison of clinical data: There was no statistical significance in gender composition,age and course of disease between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating comparability.2.Comparison of single symptom scores: Before treatment,there was no significant difference between the two groups,which was comparable(P>0.05).After treatment,the scores of each single symptom were decreased in both groups,and the reduction degree of the scores of sighing symptom in the TCM treatment group was significantly greater than that in the western medicine control group(P<0.01).The reduction of epigastric distension or pain,hypochymic distension,attack or aggravation due to emotional distress and the score of upset symptom were greater than those of western medicine control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the reduction degree of belching symptom integration between the control group and the western medicine group(P>0.05).3.Comparison of total scores of TCM symptoms: before treatment,there was no statistical significance between the two groups,which was comparable(P>0.05).After treatment,the total scores of TCM symptoms in both groups were significantly reduced(P<0.01),and the reduction degree of TCM treatment group was significantly greater than that of western medicine control group(P<0.01).4.Comparison of curative effect: the total effective rate of the traditional Chinese medicine control group was 94.12%,and that of the Western medicine control group was 82.86%.The curative effect of the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group was better than that of the Western medicine control group(P<0.01).5.Comparison of HAMD scores: Before treatment,there was no statistical significance between the two groups,which was comparable(P>0.05).After treatment,HAMD scores in both groups were significantly decreased(P<0.01),and the reduction degree of HAMD scores in the Chinese medicine group was significantly greater than that in the western medicine control group(P<0.01).6.Comparison of NDLQI scores: Before treatment,there was no statistical significance between the two groups,which was comparable(P>0.05).After treatment,NDLQI scores in both groups were significantly higher than before treatment(P<0.01),and the extent of NDLQI scores in the Chinese medicine treatment group was significantly higher than that in the western medicine control group(P<0.01).7.Record of adverse reactions: No adverse reactions occurred in both groups during the study of this subject.Conclusion:1.Modified Chaihushugan San can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with the liver-stomach disharmony type of FD with depression,without obvious adverse reactions.2.Modified Chaihushugan San can significantly improve the anxiety and depressive mood of patients with the liver-stomach disharmony type of FD with depression.3.Modified Chaihushugan San can significantly improve the quality of life of patients with the liver-stomach disharmony type of FD with depression. |
