Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Temporomandibular Joint Disorder By Press Needles Combined With Massage Therapy

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of press needles combined with massage manipulation in the treatment of temporomandibular disorders,and to provide new ideas for clinicaltreatment of the disease.MethodsRandomly select seventy-two patients with temporomandibular joint disorder,the control group was treated with massage therapy,and the treatment group was given press needles treatment on the basis of the control group.The control group was treated with massage,which was performed every Monday to Friday;The treatment group used press needles combined with massage therapy,which was performed every Monday to Friday,press needles were fitted on Monday,Wednesday and Friday;The treatment course was 2weeks in both group,a total of 10 treatments were performed.Massage was used for 10 times and acupuncture was used for 6 times.Visual analogue scale and Fricton temporomandibular disorder index were used as observation indexes.The changes of VAS score and Fricton temporomandibular joint disorder index before and after treatment were recorded and statistically analyzed.Results1.Clinical efficacy: the total clinical effective rate of the treatment group(94.29%)was higher than that of the control group(88.24%),there were significant difference between the two groups in the clinical efficacy(P<0.05).2.Recurrence rate: 3 months after treatment,recurrence rate 9.10%,control group recurrence rate 34.48%,the treatment group recurrence rate is lower than the control group(P<0.05).3.VAS: after treatment,the VAS score of both groups decreased(P<0.05),and the decrease of VAS score in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).4.Fricton index: after treatment,the scores of DI,PI and CMI in both groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the decrease in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions1.The application of press needles combined with massage manipulation and conventional massage manipulation in the diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders can significantly improve the patient’s condition and is conducive to the recovery of the patient’s condition.2.During the clinical treatment,there were no abnormalities in the two groups during the treatment,and the treatment effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.It shows that the treatment of press needles combined with massage manipulation has more therapeutic advantages,and provides a new idea for the diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular disorders.
