Clinical Treatment Of Bima Stew Male Crab Combined With Acupuncture For Wind-cold Periarthritis Of Shoulder

Objective:By comparing the differences in clinical efficacy between Bima stew male crab combined with acupuncture therap and acupuncture therap alone in the treatment of wind-cold scapulohumeral periarthritis,we seek a better treatment regimen for wind-cold scapulohumeral periarthritis,and provide a reference for clinical treatment of wind-cold scapulohumeral periarthritis.Methods:From January to December 2022,90 patients(diagnosed as frozen shoulder by western medicine and wind-cold type by TCM syndrome differentiation)who met the inclusion criteria were collected from the Department of Orthopaedics,Department of Orthopaedics,Branch Hospital and Department of Orthopaedics,General Hospital of Xiamen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital affiliated to Fujian University of Chinese Medicine.The patients were randomly divided into two groups.The control group was treated with acupuncture alone,and the experimental group was treated with castor stew on the basis of the control group The VAS pain scores,CMS scores,and TCM symptom scores before and after treatment were collected in the experimental group and the control group at 1 day before treatment,1 week,2 weeks,3 weeks after treatment,and 1 week after treatment.After collecting and collated the data,the statistical software SPSS25.0 was used for data analysis.The hypothesis test was set as P<0.05 for statistical significance.Results:1.The comparison of baseline data showed that the statistical results of the two groups in gender,age,course of disease and disease site were all more than 0.05,and the differences in baseline basic data between the two groups were not statistically significant and were comparable.2.Comparison of VAS scores: the VAS scores of the two groups at 1 week,2 weeks,3weeks after treatment and 1 week after the end of treatment were lower than those of 1 day before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the experimental group had significantly better curative effect in improving VAS score(P<0.05).3.Comparison of total CMS score: compared within the group,the total CMS score of the two groups at 1 week,2 weeks,3 weeks after treatment,and 1 week after the end of treatment was higher than that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the experimental group had significantly better curative effect in improving the total CMS score(P<0.05).4.TCM symptom score: the total TCM symptom score after treatment was lower than that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Evaluation of clinical efficacy: one week after the end of treatment,the total effective rate was 93.33% in Bima stew male crab combined with acupuncture therap group,and73.33% in acupuncture therap group.Compared with the control group,the difference between the experimental group and the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Bima stew male crab combined with acupuncture and moxibustion is superior to acupuncture and moxibustion alone in the improvement of pain,daily activities and shoulder joint mobility.2.Bima stew male crab combined with acupuncture therap and acupuncture therap alone were effective in the treatment of wind-cold type scapulohumeral periarthritis,but the effect of Bima stew male crab with acupuncture therap was better than that of acupuncture therap alone.
