Objective:This study uses traditional Chinese medicine iontophoresis technology to observe the changes in the degree of breast pain, the size of breast lumps, milk excretion, local skin color changes, white blood cell counts, and TCM syndrome scores in patients before and after treatment,as well as the recurrence rate after 1 month of treatment,in order to provide a more optimized treatment plan for the early treatment of lactating mastitis.Method:A total of 66 patients with early lactation mastitis who visited the surgical outpatient department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November2021 to November 2022 were selected and enrolled according to the inclusion criteria. They were randomly divided into an observation group of 33 cases and a control group of 33 cases. Both groups received basic treatment of breast massage, the observation group received traditional Chinese medicine iontophoresis treatment, and the control group received Ruyi Jinhuang Powder application. The two groups were treated continuously for 5 days, once a day. Before and 5 days after treatment, the changes in the degree of breast pain, the size of breast lumps, milk excretion, local skin color changes, white blood cell counts, and TCM syndrome scores were recorded and analyzed.SPSS 25.0was used to statistically analyze the data to compare the efficacy differences between the two groups.Patients who have recovered will be followed up one month later to count the number of recurrences. Results: 66 patients actually completed the entire treatment(3 cases in the observation group and 3 cases in the control group). The total effective rate of the traditional Chinese medicine iontophoresis group was 90.00%,while the total effective rate of the Ruyi Jinhuang Powder group was 80.00%.Comparison between groups was conducted by SPSS software, indicating that the effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group. In terms of changes in breast pain, breast mass size, milk excretion, and TCM syndromes, the P value was less than 0.05,with a statistically significant difference, indicating that the efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group. In terms of statistical recurrence rate,P values were all greater than 0.05,with no statistically significant difference, indicating that there was no significant difference in the recurrence rate between the observation group and the control group. In terms of local breast skin color changes and white blood cell counts in the two groups of patients, the P value was greater than 0.05,with no statistically significant difference, indicating that there was no significant difference in the efficacy of the observation group compared to the control group. Conclusion: The results showed that the overall efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine iontophoresis in the treatment of early lactation mastitis patients is good, and higher than the control group. On the basis of breast massage therapy, traditional Chinese medicine iontophoresis can effectively alleviate the symptoms of aversion to cold, fever, head and body pain, thirst, and constipation in patients while reducing the size of breast lumps, helping breast excretion, and alleviating breast pain, and helping patients recover as soon as possible. |
