Objective:The purpose of this study was to observe the clinical effect of moxibustion combined with manually discharge milk in the treatment of early fever in lactating acute mastitis.Method:In a randomized controlled clinical trial,80 patients who met the standard of the early stage in lactation acute mastitis from July 26,2018 to November 8,2019 in the outpatient department of the Mammary Gland of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group according to a 1:1 ratio through a random number table method.Forty patients in the observation group were given moxibustion combined with manually discharge milk treatment, and 40 patients in the control group were given simple manually discharge milk treatment once a day for 3 consecutive days.Efficacy indicators are:body temperature, breast pain VAS score, the size of local breast mass, and white blood cell count(WBC)and neutrophil percentage(NEUT%)in blood routine.Record the patient’s temperature changes within 3 days after enrollment in the form of a temperature log card, with a recording interval of 4 hours; Before enrollment and after each treatment, record the patient’s affected breast pain VAS score and local breast mass area Size; Before entering the group and after the third treatment, the values of white blood cell count(WBC)and neutrophil percentage(NEUT%)in blood routine were recorded respectively. All data will be statistically analyzed by SPSS 20.0 statistical software.Results:(1)Body temperature:After treatment, the body temperature of the observation group and the control group decreased. After 3 days of treatment, the body temperature of the observation group returned to normal levels. The temperature of 34 patients in the control group returned to normal levels, and the temperature of 2 patients remained elevated, there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(p>0.05).Within 24 hours after treatment, the proportion of the number of people whose body temperature returned to normal in the observation group and the control group was 79.41%and 50%,respectively.After statistical analysis, the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).The time for the observation group to return to normal body temperature(≤37℃)was shorter than the control group by an average of 8 hours, and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).(2)VAS of breast conscious pain:There is a difference between the observation group and the control group before and after the treatment of the VAS of breast conscious pain, and the difference is statistically significant(p<0.05);By comparing between the two groups, the difference is not Statistical significance(p>0.05).(3)The size of the local breast mass:The difference between the observation group and the control group before and after treatment was statistically significant(p<0.05);And the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(p>0.05).(4)Blood routine:The analysis results of white blood cell count(WBC)and neutrophil ratio(NEUT%)in the observation group and the control group showed that the difference between the two groups before and after treatment was statistically significant(p<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(p>0.05).(5)No adverse reactions occurred in the observation group and the control group. Conclusions:The results of this clinical trial showed that the initial curative effect of moxibustion combined with manually discharge milk for the treatment of acute mastitis during lactation:(1)Moxibustion and manually discharge milk can effectively reduce the patient’s body temperature, and the combination of the two treatment methods can be used more quickly restore the patient’s normal body temperature, and can maintain the normal body temperature to a certain extent,so the cooling effect is relatively stable.(2)Moxibustion and manually discharge milk can effectively relieve breast pain;(3)Moxibustion and manually discharge milk can effectively reduce the size of breast mass;(4)Moxibustion and manually discharge milk can can effectively reduce the number of white blood cells and neutrophils, and can alleviate the inflammation to a certain extent. |
