Purpose of the study:Through clinical experimental research, the efficacy of the Wind-Heat Milk Moth Formula in the clinical treatment of pediatric milk moth(wind-heat evidence)was observed and compared, evaluated and analyzed to provide a simple and effective treatment method for the clinical treatment of pediatric milk moth(wind-heat evidence),and to provide a reference for the clinical efficacy and safety of the Wind-Heat Milk Moth Formulain the treatment of pediatric milk moth. Methods:In this retrospective study,a total of 60 children who were diagnosed in the pediatric outpatient clinic and patient rooms of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine(Anhui Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine)and comply with the inclusion Standards were determined and randomly classified as 30 cases in the observation group(Western medicine)and 30 cases in the therapeutic group(Chinese medicine),with the observation group(Western medicine)being given Western medicine(Amoxicillin Clavulenate Potassium Tablets)for internal use,and the therapeutic group(Chinese medicine)being given Wind-Heat Milk Moth Formula for internal use on top of the observation group(Western medicine). The main symptoms, secondary symptoms and laboratary indexes of the children in the two groups were observed before and after the tratement, and the differences were compared. The scores of major symptoms such as fever, throat illness, congastion and enlargement of tonsils, and suppuration of tonsils were recorded before and after treatment in both groups;the scores of minor symptoms such as cough, nasal congastion and runny nose, stool, urine, swollen and painful submandibular lymph nodes and laboratory indexes such as WBC,NEU% and CRP were also recorded to objectively evaluate the clinical treatment effects of the treatment regimen in both groups.Results(1)A total of 60 cases were choose in this research, and no cases of elimination or missing occurred during the experiment. Before treatment, the general data(gender, age, graded degree and duration of disease),TCM symptom points, and laboratory metrics of the two groups were compared using statistical methods, and P>0.05 showed no statistical differences and were comparable.(2)Total efficacy analysis:Comparing the total treatment rate between the two groups, the efficacy rate of the treatment group was 93.33%(1 case cured,20 cases efficacious,7 cases improved,2 cases failed). The efficacy rate of the observation group was73.30%(0 cases cured,19 cases efficacious,3 cases improved,8 cases failed),and after statistical analysis, there was a important difference(p<0.05),This suggests that the overall efficiency of the theraputic group was stronger than that of the observation group.(3)Analysis of the mains symptoms: The therapeutic group displayed statistically significant improvements in fever, sore throat, tonsillar congestion and enlargement, and purulent tonsillar secretions compared to the control group(P<0.05).(4)Subsyndrome analysis: The therapeutic group was advantage over the control group in improving cough, relieving nasal congastion and runny nose, dry stools, reducing the frequency of urination, and reducing submandibular lymph node swelling and pain(P<0.05).(5)Analysis of laboratory test results: both groups showed efficiency in reducing WBC,NEU% and CRP in clinical therapy(P<0.05),and both therapy groups were Outstanding in the control group(P<0.05).(6)Safety and efficacy analysis: No adverse effects happened in both groups during clinical therapy, with supernal security and efficacy, which is worthy of clinical exploration and utilization.Conclusions:1.Wind-heat Milk Moth Formula could improve the clinical symptoms of pediatric milk moth(wind-heat evidence),and the Therapetic group was stronger than the observation group in terms of upgradetion of the major and secondary symptoms of TCM,indicating that the clinical efficacy of Wind-heat Milk Moth Formula combined with Amoxicillin Clavulanate Potassium Dispersible Tablets in the treatment of pediatric milk moth(wind-heat evidence)was better than that of Amoxicillin Clavulanic Acid Potassium Tablets alone.2.Both groups showed clinical efficacy in reducing white blood cell count(WBC),neutrophil percentage(NEU%)and C-reactive protein(CRP),and the reduction was more pronounced in the treatment group, indicating that the efficacy of Wind-Heat Milk Moth Formula combined with Amoxicillin Clavulanate Potassium Dispersible Tablets in the treatment of pediatric milk moth(wind-heat evidence)is better than that of Amoxicillin Clavulanic Acid Potassium Tablets alone.3.The Wind-Heat Milk Moth Formula is safe and reliable in the treatment of pediatric milk moths without adverse effects. It is worthy of clinical extension and recommendation.
