Evaluation Of The Efficacy Of Sanshen Decoction In Patients With Heart Failure With Preserved Ejection Fraction Due To Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis

Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of Sangshen Decoction by observing the changes of relevant indexes after treating heart failure with preserved ejection fraction(HFp EF)of Qi deficiency and blood stasis,and to provide a scientific basis for promoting the application of Sangshen Decoction in clinical practice.Methods: Sixty patients with HFp EF in the type of Qi deficiency and blood stasis were collected and divided into observation group(30)and control group(30)by randomization method.The TCM evidence score,Lee’s heart failure score,cardiac function classification,N-terminal B-type natriuretic peptide precursor(NT-pro BNP),and echocardiography-related indexes(LVEF,mean e’,E/e’,E/A)were observed and recorded in both groups before and after treatment,and SPSS 26.0 was used for statistical processing and analysis to observe the efficacy of Sanshen Decoction in patients with HFp EF with Qi deficiency and blood stasis.Results:1.TCM evidence points: after treatment,the TCM evidence points of both groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.01),and the TCM evidence points of the observation group were lower than those of the control group in the comparison between groups(P<0.05),and the observation group was better than the control group.2.TCM evidence efficacy: the total effective rate of Chinese medical evidence efficacy in the observation group(86.67%)was higher than that in the control group(73.33%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Lee’s heart failure score: Lee’s heart failure score was lower in both groups after treatment than before treatment(P<0.01),and the Lee’s heart failure score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the observation group was better than the control group.4.Lee’s heart failure score efficacy: the total effective rate of Lee’s heart failure score efficacy in the observation group(83.33%)was higher than that in the control group(63.33%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Cardiac function grading efficacy: the total effective rate of cardiac function grading efficacy in the observation group(90.00%)was higher than that in the control group(70.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).6.NT-pro BNP: After treatment,NT-pro BNP was lower in both groups than before treatment(P<0.01),and NT-pro BNP in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the observation group was better than the control group.7.Echocardiographic indexes: LVEF,mean e’,E/A,E/e’ were significantly improved in both groups after treatment compared with those before treatment(P<0.01),and the mean e’ in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,E/e’ was lower than that in the control group,and E/A was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and there was no statistical difference in LVEF between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusions:The treatment of patients with HFp EF with Qi deficiency and blood stasis by Sanshen Decoction can effectively reduce patients’ TCM evidence score and Lee’s heart failure count score,lower NT-pro BNP level,improve patients’ cardiac function level,and relieve patients’ clinical symptoms and signs,and the mechanism may be related to improving left ventricular diastolic function.
