Heart Failure With Preserved Ejection Fraction Treated By Yiqi Tongyu Decoction Clinical Observation

Objective: 60 patients were selected as the research subjects,who met the inclusion criteria for HFp EF,and they all came from the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,the outpatient department of cardiovascular disease.Methods: The patients were randomly divided into two groups,with 30 patients in each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,while the treatment group with Yiqi Tongyu Decoction on the basis of the conventional western medicine for 4 weeks.Observing the changes of TCM symptom score,NT-proBNP level,6 minute walk distance,E/A ratio and Minnesota heart failure quality of life score to analyze the efficacy difference between the two groups.Results:1.The total clinical effective rate of the control group was 63.33%,and the total clinical effective rate of the treatment group was 86.67%.The treatment group was superior to the the control group,which was statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Comparing two groups of treatment both can reduce the effect of the syndrome score of TCM and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).2.The level of NT-proBNP was decreased in both groups after treatment,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Comparing two groups of treatment,the treatment group had better effect than the control group(P<0.05).3.6 minute walk distance was improved after treatment in both groups and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The treatment group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).4.The E/A ratio improved in both groups after treatment,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Comparing with the control group,the treatment group had better effect than the control group(P<0.05).5.Minnesota heart failure quality of life score was significantly lower than that before treatment in both groups,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The treatment group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: Patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction(Qi deficiency blood stasis syndrome)could be treated with the Yiqi Tongyu Decoction combined with western medicine to reduce the TCM syndrome score and NT-proBNP level,improve the 6 minute walking distance,E/A ratio,and improve the quality of life.Its curative effect is better than western medicine alone.
