Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Buyang Huanwu Decoction Combined With Fangji Huangqi Decoction In The Treatment Of Heart Failure With Preserved Ejection Fraction Due To Qi Deficiency, Blood Stasis And Water Retentio

Objective: to observe the clinical effect of Buyang Huanwu decoction and Fangji Huangqi decoction on the patients with HFPEF of Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome.Methods: Cases of HFPEF with qi-deficiency,blood-stasis and water-stasis syndrome were selected from the inpatients and outpatients of Hunan Provincial Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine from March 2021 to 2023,the control group was treated with standardized Western medicine,while the experimental group was treated with Buyang Huanwu decoction and Fangji Huangqi decoction on the basis of standardized Western medicine.At last,30 patients in the test group and 30 patients in the control group were enrolled in the study.The TCM syndrome scores,NYHA heart function grading and 6-minute walking test were observed before and after treatment in both groups,minnesota quality of life score,c-reactive protein,NT-pro BNP,color doppler echocardiography(E/e’)。Results:1.The total effective rate of the test group was 90%,while that of the control group was only 67%.The test group was superior to the control group(P < 0.05).2.TCM syndrome integral comparison: both groups can reduce TCM syndrome integral,the test group was better than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.The total effective rate was 90.00% in the test group and 73.40% in the control group,with a significant difference(P < 0.05).Four.C-reactive protein: both groups can reduce the level of c-reactive protein,the test group was better than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).5.Comparison of NT-pro BNP: both groups can reduce the level of NT-pro BNP,the test group was better than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).6.6-minute walking test: both groups can increase the distance of6-minute walking test,the test group is better than the control group,the difference has statistical significance(P < 0.05).Seven.Comparison of Minnesota quality of life scores: both groups could improve the Minnesota quality of life scores,the test group was better than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).8.E/E’ was decreased in both groups,and there was no significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P >0.05).Conclusion: Buyang Huanwu decoction combined with Fangji Huangqi decoction can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of HFPEF patients with qi-deficiency,blood stasis and water stagnation syndrome,improve the exercise tolerance and quality of life,reduce inflammation,and have a definite therapeutic effect.
