Objective:The study aims to analyze the perimenopausal symptoms, the level of serum lipid and bone mineral density and the relationship between the severity of perimenopausal symptoms and serum lipid, bone mineral density by the investigation and analysis of 470 perimenopausal women. Methods:The questionnaire survey collected general information of 470 cases of 40 ~ 60year-old perimenopausal women in the outpatient department of gynecology, affiliated hospital of Guizhou medical university, including age, body mass index(BMI),cultural level, work status, income, family relationship, smoking status, alcohol, etc, and the levels of serum lipid and spinal bone mineral density(BMD).According to the modified Kupperman menopause index(m KMI),perimenopausal symptoms were classified as normal(0-6 points),mild(7-15 points),moderate(16-30 points)and severe(over 30 points).Kruskal-wallis test and ordered multiple Logistic regression analysis were used to screen out the influencing factors of the severity of perimenopausal symptoms. The levels of serum lipid and bone mineral density in perimenopausal women were analyzed descriptively.Linear regression was used to analyze the relationship between m KMI and serum lipid index TG,TC,LDL-C,HDL-C and spinal BMD.Results:1、61.49% women had moderate or above perimenopausal symptoms. The top five perimenopausal symptoms were insomnia, hot flashes and sweating, irritability, arthralgia and fatigue.Educational level and family relationship were the main influencing factors for the severity of perimenopausal symptoms.2 、 63.19% perimenopausal women had dyslipidemia, and the main type of dyslipidemia was hypertriglyceridemia(28.72%).The detection rate of abnormal bone mass was 63.19%,among which the detection rate of low bone mass was42.34% and the detection rate of osteoporosis was 20.85%.3 、 In the unadjusted model,m KMI was negatively correlated with TG(β=-0.046,P<0.05),and positively correlated with HDL-C(β=0.006,P< 0.05).MKMI was not associated with TC(β=-0.006,P>0.05)and LDL-C(β=0.012,P>0.05)and negatively correlated with spinal BMD(β=-0.002,P<0.05).In the age-adjusted and BMI models,m KMI was negatively correlated with TG(β=-0.045,P < 0.05),and positively correlated with HDL-C(β=0.006,P <0.05).MKMI was not associated with TC(β=-0.006,P>0.05)and LDL-C(β=0.011,P>0.05)and negatively correlated with spinal BMD(β=-0.002,P<0.05).Conclusions:1 、 The symptoms of perimenopausal women are mainly manifested as insomnia and hot flashes and sweating, mainly moderate.Education level and family relationship are the influencing factors of severity of perimenopausal symptoms.Understanding perimenopausal symptoms and influencing factors provides theoretical basis for individualized health care and health guidance in this region.2、 More than half of perimenopausal women have dyslipidemia and abnormal bone mass.Screening for serum lipids and bone density should be focused in perimenopause period.3、mKMI is associated with serum lipids and spine BMD.
